Lucy's Garden is a bungalow hotel on the beautiful Indonesian island of Gili Air, not far from Lombok and Bali. Lucy's Garden is situated on the western side of the island, facing the sunset in the evenings. The bungalows are located a mere minutes walk from the waterfront, and another two minutes from the nearest surf break. Completed in early 2011, the bungalows come equipped with modern air conditioning, Western style bathrooms and a patio. Following local traditions, they were constructed in the traditional Sasak architecture of the Gili Islands, out of locally sourced building materials.

Beautiful rooms, clean clear pool, and right next to the beach. The breakfast was tasty - we have the cheese toasties. The staff are also very attentive (they even helped me glue back together my broken drone). What else could you want? Thanks for having us!

Beautiful little place set just a minute walk from the beach. Breakfast served at your bungalow every morning with fresh fruit and coffee added for no extra charge. Great little pool for when you’ve had enough of the ocean. The staff were so layed back but at the same time helpful. As a large family of 10 we loved this place.

Great value for money. Secluded and tranquil, the garden is a cool haven. Not luxurious but comfortable and with a unique charm. Staff are excellent; very friendly and attentive. I would stay here again on future trips to Gili Air.

So we stayed for 3 nights during feb 2019, the rooms are very dark and basic, the bathroom was a bit smelly and only a thin sheet on the bed (I may be being over fussy but I like a thin duvet on the bed and all other places I have stayed provide this,) The staff are friendly, the pool is nice to cool off in but not really able to swim in it as there is a huge step half way and the pool becomes shallow. The breakfast is good. Lucy’s garden is located a 10/15 min walk from the boat drop off so keep that in mind when booking as there are no vehicles on the island only horse and cart (quoted 180,000 to take us) so we walked. Make sure to stop off at a beach bar and enjoy the sunset in the evening, the sunsets on gili air are amazing! Overall we enjoyed our stay, however if I visited again I would prefer a more luxurious stay some place else.
