For me it was located perfectly on the island. With a bike you are close to everything. Close to the sunset beach and the most beautiful part of the island, the north side. The rooms were clean and very cozy, equipped with both fan and AC. Each room is a small separate bungalow placed around the pool. The reception is both restaurant and bar. The breakfast included is above average I would say. Very friendly staff and they do their utmost to fulfill your wishes. Very nice outdoor movie nights with free pop corn. I love this place! It’s cosy, calm and relaxing. It’s paradise.
Really close to the beach, beautiful pool, very clean and the swinging beds are just the best. I definitely recommend to stay here specially if you’re traveling alone. You can also rent a bike in a shop just in front to get around the island.
We stayed at Captain Coconut Hotel for 4 nights and we enjoyed it so much. They have a very friendly staff and delicious vegetarian food. Even though we are meat lovers we enjoyed it so much. P. S. They have best coffee on the island.
This was by far one of my favorite hostels in Bali! I really liked the vibes, the people, the place. The sleeping rooms were cosy and the hanging beds were really nice! The musquito nets gave you privacy and also looked cute. The water from the shower was not always hot but I didn't really care tho because I needed cold showers to cool down. And last but not least: the breakfast is really good!! Try the pancakes and apple oat!
We stayed at Captain Coconuts Gili for 2 nights during our stay on Gili Air and it was pretty impressive. The accommodation is half hotel and half hostel, with a mix of a little luxury and affordable prices. There is a private villa for families, dorm rooms, large deluxe and standard rooms double for couples, families (there are pull out beds in the Deluxe) and anyone who wishes to visit the beautiful island. Captain Coconuts welcomes all. The staff are very welcoming, always there if you need assistance and the atmosphere of the place is very calm and relaxing. Just what you need for a stay on Gili Air! There is a pool in the centre of the accommodation for all guests to use with sun beds and a canopy bed area. There are also hammocks for you to lie and chill out on, day or night. For the 2 nights we stayed in a Deluxe Room. It was very spacious whilst being cosy at the same time. The interior is unlike any other place we’ve stayed. It’s all eco-friendly and each furnishing you see has been up cycled - super impressive! There is water, robes & a safety box in each room, making the stay both welcoming and comforting. It also comes equipped with a shower, very large (& cosy) double bed, seating area, WiFi, TV, wardrobe and towels. There is free breakfast with the room which is in their cafe, Cocoloco. There is a choice of any juice, tea or coffee and oats (so delicious), pancakes or omelette. Very good options that cater for all. The cafe also runs an all day menu with lots of choice and caters to dietary requirements. You also get a welcome juice upon arrival which always adds a nice touch! Overall, fabulous stay and would totally recommend to everyone from families to couples and travellers!…
