Detailed Reviews
we arrived 10 October 2009, 27C and sunshine, but most tourists had left the entire area. During the week, temperature lowered to 23C and the pool that had been great in the first days (and it IS great) became too cold.
The reception only opened a few hours Saturday+Sunday, the shop, bar and pizza inside the area closed, and only the pool bar+restaurant was open, and not in the evening. The entire area became deserted, and it was very quiet. Other reviews (from July) have complained about noise all evening and night, parties all the time, etc. and we understand that, given the high density and the poor sound proofing. But we had silence.
The appartment is average, cleaning was poor and we had a few bugs to chase. The beds are not good, bedroom are acceptable, bunk beds are poor and the sofas are horrible - both as sofas and when turned into beds. the rest is quite good, good kitchen, plenty of kitchenware, dishwasher, microwave, fridge with a real freezer.
Our appartment was with a terrase, very nice indeed but we could see the balconys where also spaceus compared to similar places in Spain. The resort i well kept, nice gardens, good access, kept well (must be a lack of parking spaces in summer months). The beach just accross the street is extremely nice.
For what we paid (200 € for a week off season) it was fair. We didn't expect much. But in high season when prices are much higher and there are people in all appartments (instead of the 5% while we were there) you have to be very flexible and adaptive.

Our first room was not very nice, very gloomy with older furniture and a wall safe which almost fell out of the closet. We asked for a different room in better shape and the second room had a nice balcony and ok accommodations. The pool area was nice and the walk to the beach was short. Great beach and local restaurants in the area. Wi-fi was difficult to access with limited use. Would probably stat at a different place in the same area in the future.

De plus Alcossebre est à 15 minutes à pied de Playa Romana par le sentier piétonnier,mais c'est pas très grand , on a vite fait le tour du centre ville;en fait surtout les Espagnols se retrouvent le soir pour diner et flaner;
Cordialement.
