the hotel is not new, a renovation next time would be recommended, but the owners do what they can. everything is clean, beds are good, the view from the balcony over the stadion and to the starting airplanes is interesting, with a certain city-feeling. with closed windows the noise is not disturbing, aircondition is good, I slept very well. nearby supermarkets, many restaurants. friendly, very ok.
We stayed here for one night on the day we landed. We walked here, no problems, from the airport in 5 minutes. The room was large and clean and the large bed was super comfy. Wifi worked brilliantly. The guy that met us on arrival was chatty and funny and again when we came down for breakfast in the morning the staff were lovely. There was a good choice for breakfast. We would definately stay here again.
I needed a hotel close to the airport for a quick 1 night stop. This fitted the bill. It is a family run, traditional hotel, rooms are a good size and with aircon. Breakfast is a simple buffet, but as i was rushed and just took a coffee and a sandwich they comped me. Small gesture but appreciated.
Very dated, basic and tatty hotel which looked like a throwback to a previous era, and which, at 100 euros a night seemed pretty overpriced. However it was very convenient for an overnight stay on arrival in Corfu, being a 10 minute walk from the airport and a few good tavernas on the seafront and a 15 minute walk from the bus station. It was also quiet, reasonably comfortable and the breakfast (included) was not at all bad.
My boyfriend and I spent one night here before leaving Corfu town on an early flight. It cost 100 Euros which was a total crime. It was a 40 - 60 Euro MAX facility. The bathroom was unusable, it was dirty, a throwback to the 60’s with no shower cubicle just a filthy curtain hanging around a dip in the floor with a dirty plug hole. The entire room flooded when you used the (hand held) shower head, the loo couldn’t flush properly and the loo brush which we needed to use was so filthy and old it actually made me gag when I tried to use it. The only way to flush the loo was to use the shower to get more water flow into the bowl. The two single beds (we booked a double) could not be made into one bed, the pillow was pieces of loose foam bits like you would stuff a dogs bed with (if you were desperate) the hotel is also opposite the football stadium which is floodlit. We were charged for drinking water as none was provided. It is as advertised very close to the airport, a five minute walk intact so you can hear your plane getting ready... For 100 Euro’s/pounds in 2018 this is not acceptable and total robbery. If the cost of staying here had been reflective of its facilities I.e a backpackers hostel in a 3rd world country I would not have had any complaints. However you stay here at your peril.…
