The staff were wonderful. Very attentive and friendly and helpful. The position of of the hotel was ideal to have a nice stroll along the promenade to the old town about 30 mins. Or if you prefer there is a local bus which runs every 20mins a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel is lovely with a very relaxed atmosphere the choice of breakfast and buffet meal is very good. We had a sea view room which was nice however the bathroom could do with being update. There is a main road outside of the hotel which can be noisy if you leave you patio door open at night as the bin men seem to come very early in the morning. However I would highly recommend this hotel. We waited over two years to visit and certainly were not disappointed.
Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Small pool area but private beach / bathing places available locally if required. Nice rooms and great views although the bathrooms needs updating. Good buffet breakfast too. 20 minute walk into fabulous Corfu Town.
We booked this holiday in Jan20 for Sep20 but due to Covid the Hotel closed and rather than put more pressure on the Hotel we chose to transfer the booking to Sep21 – by doing this the Hotel kept our payment of €900 which was paid in Jan20 – at this time I also ensured that my room arrangements were retained (Sea View (not side), Balcony & Breakfast included). Near the date of the holiday we added an additional 2 nights to the trip which they confirmed was OK – the Hotel could have taken the additional payment but chose not to until our arrival. When we checked in I paid the additional cost for the 2 nights immediately and suggested that we would be eating and drinking at the Hotel and would run a tab for this (charging to the room) – I was advised that if I wished to do this I would have to pay a Deposit of €200 (this is bearing in mind that I had been happy for the Hotel to be holding €900 of mine for over 21 months) this showed a one sided lack of Trust on the part of the Hotel something which I have never encountered in any other holiday. At this point I decided that we would not be eating and drinking at the Hotel – which we did not apart from the pre-paid Breakfast. After Checking in we were allocated our room and within minutes I had to complain to Reception – the room was small and to my mind was a Side Sea view (ie cheaper) and the balcony was unbelievable – the door to the balcony opened inwards and you had to move a table and chair in the room in order to open the balcony door then when you get on the balcony there was no way that this could accommodate 2 people as it only measured about 1 metre (I have taken a photograph of the Balcony from the outside). The Receptionist spoke with someone and we were moved and the explanation I was given was that the Hotel was busy to which I responded that my Booking was made over 21 months ago and this was not a satisfactory explanation. The room we eventually had to accept was average at best (nothing like the website pictures) and was clearly in need of decoration and not up the Star rating we believed we had purchased. I am not sure exactly how many rooms the Hotel has but the Pool (which is adjacent to a road) has only 7 umbrellas so there is very little chance to enjoy this feature at all. The only real positive comments I can make about this Hotel and Booking are for the staff in the Breakfast room and the Receptionist when we were checking out who were very pleasant and the overall location of the Hotel.…
The hotel was very good and clean as well as the area and room wonderful, thank you especially the Metr of the hotel M Kostas for his impecable professional is and courtesy. I also thank Elvina for her wonderful professional massage and care that she offered me as well as all the staff who where very kind and helpful
Very good location-only 15 min to old town Rooms are very small - almost claustrophobic Lots of noise at night time from outside View from our room wasn’t pleasant Breakfast ok but but breakfast room extremely crowded- no social distance Reception staff very robotic , first impression wasn’t the best Welcoming drink less than half of glass of Prosecco-looked very poor and silly Give your guests proper glass or nothing ( in my opinion) No chance to take a bath in our room Taps designed only for showers I head bath leak in our room Over all ok but nothing spectacular
