Please be mindful that these comments are my personal view and as factual as I encountered. Not intended to cause harm or offence. First impressions. Superior room small but very clean and very basic. Tea/coffee facilities very very basic. Usual bathroom facilities, no bath but great shower. In room TV 99% Greek, one English TV channel, BBC World news. All apps on the TV out of date and do not work apart from YouTube. The biggest issue for us was the fact we had booked a double room and had two single beds. Each with a single quilt and sheet. A double room should come with a double bed, or be advertised as a twin room. This isn't 5 star. Breakfast / meals Single use gloves to be used while picking food. Face masks mandatory throughout the hotel and monitored by staff. Food fantastic. Tip, ask for proper coffee not filtered as its like cat wee. Evening meals in the same area, excellent food. All good apart from the occasional scruff who recycled their gloves and coughed on the rice. Note: many need educating in the use of single use only gloves and personal hygiene. Getting away from the hotel, the bus into Corfu Town was €7.60 for 2 return. A taxi was €50 return. Take your pick. Nice Greek wine in the hotel €4 per glass or €16 per bottle. However they keep the same wine in the hotel shop for €4.50 per bottle. Disgusting that they charge €11.50 more per bottle for the privilege of sitting 2 meters away. Take it to your room haha. They seem to be very good with the whole c19 situation. However staff are clearing plates from your table then taking drinks to others whilst ungloved/no sanitising or washing. Like pre covid I guess. The decor is near immaculate throughout the hotel. Polished floors galore with bleach splashed carpets on the upper deck. Walking local, daytime only unless you have a massive torch/hiking boots or a car. Daytime is great however its road walking as paths are minimal. Visit Ipsos its very very nice and close, only €1.70 on the number 7 bus. Greek motorists have no regard for pedestrians on foot so be careful. In summary, I would stay at the hotel again, in a different room. The staff cannot do enough for you including the cleaning team. The island itself is great but we suggest renting a car, or scooter if you're very brave. When eating out, most restaurants are allowing smoking inside so beware if this isn't your thing.

We had some key requirements for our stay and searched in depth before deciding upon this hotel ; high quality rooms, good gym and spa, access to pool area with plenty of sun beds, peace and quiet, close to Corfu Town and local restaurants. Even so you are never entirely sure that the description matches the reality. On this occasion the Rodastama ticked all the boxes and was very reasonably priced in comparison to others. We opted for B&B option eating 3 evening meals within the hotel. There are 2 excellent restaurants in easy walking distance or the Govia Marina is a short taxi ride away. The breakfasts were excellent and all the staff were helpful and responsive at all times. The Spa was of good quality. Rooms cleaned thoroughly everyday and the COVID protocols followed religiously throughout the hotel. We opted for a suite with private pool so we didn’t have to worry about getting sun loungers but in the end there were plenty and we could move between the two. Lovely setting by the pool overlooking the bay. Reception staff were all extremely helpful including assisting with our COVID documentation before return. Thoroughly recommend this hotel for quality, service and value for money.

A big thank you to every single member of staff who made our 12 night stay truly memorable. The two dinners in the poolside restaurant were exceptional. A special thanks to Yannis for his skills at cocktail making ! Excellent wine list - very reasonable prices. The staff really go out of their way to ensure you are well looked after. We would probably have eaten in the buffet more than once had it been possible to eat outside - but lacking in atmosphere although we all enjoyed the food. Would hire a car next time as we needed 2 cabs everywhere ( being 5) which added quite a bit to the cost of nights out in Corfu town - a must ! Also a family owned boat hire / water sports business just opposite the hotel gates. Another must is to hire a boat and have lunch at The White House restaurant- sublime !! Will be back to this hotel again - what more can I say ?

For a 5 star hotel they could have better beds, they are hard as a rock. The pool is nice and the place is very clean. The staff is friendly but when I checked out and there was an issue with an incorrect charge they lost their manners and all of the sudden they weren’t so friendly. If you stay you definitely need a car it’s very out of the way but worth it if you are looking for peace

This is not a five star hotel. Lovely decor most staff are friendly but beware the food is nothing like what is shown on the promotional video. Especially in the evening buffet. We booked half board . Big mistake if you love dining out and dressing for the occasion this Is not the place to go .
