Main House sleeps upto 10 guests in 4bedrooms 4bathrooms plus a sleeper couch (own bathroom) Rock cave unit sleeps a cosy 2 adults and is independently situated near the rockpool. Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We stayed at the cave Great host , Area is good , design is unique and amazing . The cave does need extra care , the owners should make sure everything is sorted before booking it .
Leaks during rain Toilet leaks and unstable Broken window by the bed Broken braai stand
All of the above could be fixed before booking the place out , if everything was sorted this would have been the perfect experience

Spent the weekend 9 - 11 November 2018 in the Main House at Rockwood Earth Lodge. Stunning place, big stoep, fireplace inside the house, lekker braai area outside on the stoep. Beautiful view of Champagne Castle. It was very quiet, didn't see or hear anybody else. The Rock Pool is awesome, clean clear water. Will definitely visit again,.

Stunning property and very private and secluded, it was difficult to find in the dark. The gardens are superbly maintained and the old house is awesome. I found the bed too hard for me but everyone has their differences.

This is an amazing secured property with stunning views from the back porch. The cellar and man cave are also great little getaways as long as you are not too tall or claustrophobic. the pool is great. The one negative was that it asks people to be quiet at the lodge but the neighbour chain-sawed firewood all day Saturday which disturbed the peaceful atmosphere. Great place to getaway with a big crowd. Accommodation was lovely and had everything you could need for entertaining.

This is a privately owned lodge in a secure gated community with the requisite access control.The lodge itself is a beautifully decorated 3 bedroom house all en suite with absolutely all the home comforts you could wish for.The views of the mountains are spectacular and the rock swimming pool unique and unusual in its design.The gardens are very well maintained.The lodge is within easy distance of Champagne Castle Hotel,2 golf courses and all sorts of other amenities.
