We stayed here for 3 nights in september 2020. The location by the lake is amazing, could not be beter. There is a deck with sunbeds, even though it wasn't high season, the deck could get really crowded in the afternoon. The room was spacious, cleen, but a bit outdated. Air conditioner did not work (or we couldn't find out how it worked). Nice balcony with lake view. We ate dinner at the restaurant on our first night, it was disapponting. High price for the food we got (small portion, mediocre quality). Staff at the restaurant was not friendly. Breakfast was a bit disapponting too: very basic (maybe because of covid?), did not seem fresh, small portions. For example: when we asked for eggs, they said that it was not included, so we had to pay extra for this.

Over the past 10 years, I have been in this place several times, sometimes with friends, sometimes with my girlfriend. It has always been nice, even if the rooms are old and the mattresses need to be changed... But, my last visit was disappointing. The restaurant use to be very good. Now very bad. And i was not the only to believe so. I had some laugh with other clients. Please, dont order any fried mixed fish. It is the worst. And the risotto as the pasta is not very good... And the prices are very high. 20 E for a bad portion of pasta is to much. Hope that they will change it soon, this place deserve it.

The family were so helpful, right from the start when the bus driver dropped me at the wrong stop (buses were being diverted as a bridge was closed) and I had to ring up and ask for help - they ended up coming out to fetch me. The menu has a good selection for dinner which can be taken outside in good weather. There was a good selection for breakfast. Do remember to take your swimming gear for a swim in the lake. If arriving by public transport, it might be a good idea to check with the hotel that the buses are not on diversion.

Second time we have been and it does not disappoint. Beautiful, well run, long term family hotel. Simple, clean, tidy with a lovely feel to it. The views are exceptional. Food is wonderful and the staff so lovely - special mention please to the wonderful gentlemen who looked after us at dinner - wish I had their names, but the gentleman in charge and the smaller gentleman who looked after our table. Their English is wonderful but they let me practise my Italian on them without complaint. Hoping we shall go again and that it never changes. From the gluten free lady, her husband and son xx

The location is great. That’s why this hotel deserves a good rating. To consider: -Garage is available but at 15 EUR x night. -Reception was rather cold, but polite. -In case you want to have dinner at the nice terrace, make sure you ask accordingly. They will not assume that you want to eat outside on a nice warm evening. -The food at the restaurant could improve though. Fish was dry and wine list is rather small. -Room furniture is quite outdated but it all works. -You could hear the TV of the room next door. So if you are sensible to sound bring earplugs. The room views are breathtaking.
