An absolutely STUNNING place! Right off the N3 highway as you come past the Bergview Engen 1Stop.

The rooms are furnished beautifully with lovely decor and the bathroom is large and spacious. Each room has its own TV and Dstv decoder.

The dining room serves food to order and they have a good variety, food was divine and tasted like the best home cooked meal you've ever had. Portions were large and everything is prepared fresh for order.

The property itself is spacious and beautifully, it feels serene and the view is amazing. It can get a little noisy so close to the highway but one you start relaxing you will forget about the road entirely.

If you are looking for a wedding venue or a halfway stop to or from the coast this is the place. Worth every cent, staff are friendly and very hands on, food was amazing and rooms and the entire property are gorgeously maintained.

My wife and I stayed here for one night on our way to Durban. We had a very pleasant welcome from the receptionist, and directed to a very comfortable room, We had a pre-dinner drink in the bar, where we had an entertaining half hour with the barman, Siya.. My wife and I both had the fillet, I have eaten fillet all over the world, but cannot recall having fillet cooked better. It was worthy of a New York five star restaurant. Annemarie was most attentive throughout the meal, without being intrusive. We really enjoyed our short stay. TonyC Howick

Lala Nathi has clean, comfortable Rondawels, Chalets and other larger units. Fan in the room and no aircon is a small problem on hot summer nights,
The staff are excellent, friendly, helpful, courteous and simply nice people.
Restaurant is good with pretty decent food.
Always enjoy the stopover en route between KZN South Coast and Pretoria

We had noticed the lodge on several occasions and decided to stop over on our way back from the coast. First impression was good but the so called luxury two bedroom cottage did not live up to expectation. Rooms are cramped but a large bathroom. Unfortunately the shower was below standard. Not good value for the money.
The Bar has some unique wood features and the barman was helpful. Unfortunately the bar stools are extremely uncomfortable. Nice vibe overall.
We had dinner, my wife having the Chicken Pie while I had the Eisbein. Both were really very good.
It was raining at the time and the walk back to the Rondavel was unpleasant. Very poor lighting and we came close to falling on the uneven surface.
Unfortunately the noise from the N3 is very intrusive.

We spent two nights at Lala Nathi as part of a 70th birthday event - having grown up on a farm in the Harrismith district. One of my siblings had not having been back to the farm for 33 years and we wanted to reconnect with our roots. The choice of Lala Nathi was perfect for the occasion giving a sense of warm friendship we so associated with our childhood. The people at Lala Nathi were wonderful - wonderful without exception. Helpful in every way and making it a truly lovely experience. Congratulations to you for demonstrating what caring for customers can be - looking after our every need. Will we return? You bet we will!

We stayed here on our way home from Durban to break up the trip for our small kids. It was such a lovely surprise. The room was very clean, neat and just what you need for a stopover. The underfloor heating kept the room nice and cosy. Staff were friendly. The dinner was delicious.

A lovely relaxing spot. My wife and I aways stop over enroute to the coast. The accommodation and facilities never disappoint. The accommodation is clean and well appointed. The restaurant so inviting with a log fire. The staff friendly and efficient. Well done. Keep it up there..

Slept over at La La Nathi Harrismith on our way down to the coast at KZN. Fantastic experience. Kids loved it. Had dinner which took a bit long but was also great. Rooms lovely, service great and perfectly positioned for a stopover. To conclude, a great experience.

This guesthouse is located right on the fringe of the highway, so its quite noisy.

Rooms are ok, food very average and all in all, its a place that youd probably forget pretty quickly.

We used this to break up the drive from Johannesburg to Durban and although this place would be good in a more quiet location and with a better restaurant it just doesnt hit the mark.
