Detailed Reviews
We had a quick stop over on our way to cape town. Very friendly and quite patite but great service. Moneys worth, not much to do in the little town itself. Will use this as a pitstop accommodation again. Thanks for the lovely stay.

As a group of friends all professionals and business owners we were away for the weekend on a bike trip.
We overnighted at this accomodation
We we promised one thing and where presented with an alternate acccomadation.
This was absolutely terrible. Shabby mismatched furniture. No doors on toilets or bathrooms.
Poor quality beds.
Totally mislead and overcharged for what we got.

I booked accommodation at this guest house for 5 gents on a motorcycle trip accommodation price was 400 P/P sharing and the 5th person would have to pay R550 for a single room, looking at the pictures of the guest house on all the booking websites and the hosts own website , I went ahead and booked and paid for the booking.
on our way there we were given a different address to the guest house to check in , at arriving at this address we were informed that this was our accommodation for the night , a converted garage and store room with miss matched furniture , not the guest house in the pictures, on confronting the person we booked with we were informed that they went out of there way to get us 3 room , further to me informing the person that this was not the place we booked , he then said he would refund us some money R550.
it has been a week now and with promising of the refund and telling me 3 days ago that the money has been paid into my account , no funds reflect, be warned this is not a trustworthy host and I would not recommend any one book with the Cyril Rose guest house in the future

Quaint, Friendly and Comfortable; Although renovations are under way, the rooms are comfortable and neat, area is quiet, just what is required for a overnighter to break the monotony of a long trip travelling.
