Swartberg Guest House is situated in the Overberg, in Caledon's historical Mill Street. The guest house is named after the small Swartberg mountain range which runs adjacent to the town and after which the town was originally named. Caledon is centrally situated in the Overberg which makes it the ideal base from which to explore this interesting region. It also makes it a convenient stop-over on the way to the Garden Route from Cape Town International Airport.

Thank you Johan for your five star hospitality. I really enjoyed my stay at your guesthouse ,it was a home away from home. I will definitely come back with my family for a long stay and will recommend my friends and family to stay at your place when they are in Caledon.

This was such a fantastic experience for our family. We were just wanting to get away and take it easy without and have a relaxing time away. Our stay was certainly that from start to finish. I love how organized Johan and family are and how they give you space too. Our stay was exactly what we wanted and we enjoyed it. The rooms are spotless and the bedding and towels are of a superior quality to that even found in some hotels nowadays. Premium standard is what i would classify it is. The breakfast was good even if it had to be changed at the last minute. Just a fantastic experience and i would definitely like to try out their other property in strruisbaai.

Such a perfect set up for a family going to a wedding nearby and needing a granny/nanny to look after the kids. And very affordable too. The apartment had everything we needed, with lovely touches, and lovely owners. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Swartberg Guest House.
