I have to say that I was very impressed with this hotel. The room was beautiful and the view was breathtaking. Our hosts Alberto and Maria made you feel welcome and at home! We stayed for 4 nights, there is so much to see and do in this area , the surrounding towns are very nice as well. The town of Juayua is very safe, even at night. The people also are very friendly, and everyone gives you a smile and are willing to help you anyway they can . El Salvador is an amazing Country!

Hotel Juayua has picturesque volcano views. Located in the central part of this cute little town. Staff is helpful & pleasant. The breakfast in the AM is delicious and included. Highly recommend booking the newer part of the hotel, beautifully appointed rooms.

Me and my family were passing by Juayua, and honestly we did not plan to stay there but it was a spur of the moment decision. But we enjoyed every moment of it, the service was more than stellar, the view was just breathtaking. if you have a chance, go there, its amazing!!

The food was great and the facilities very comfortable and convenient. I loved it.

We accidentally ended up in Hotel Juayua. We had indeed planned to go to Juayua, a wonderfull town with it's feria gastronómica (every weekend) and a great spot to stay at on the Ruta las Flores, but didn't have anything booked. We never had on our trip and always we got a room on our Central America round trip. On the Ruta las Flores we got to know a friendly family on the road. They were on a weekend trip and they were on their way to this great hotel so we followed and we got a room too.

Nice little pool, beautifull view from the garden and one of the greatest hotel owners I've ever met. He has so many stories to tell of his past. He has been growing coffee too and still does. The coffee he serves in his hotel is form his fields. A very friendly and helpful person. Thank you Alberto! Also all the rest of the staff are very friendly and even walked me to the laundry (they do not have laundry at the hotel). We stayeda couple of nights. There is ofcourse a wifi too. Would have liked to enjoy a couple more nights, but had to continue our journey. If I return to Juayua, I will stay at Hotel Juayua. I highly recommend, we loved it!

this hotel is perched on the top of a hill above juayua with great views of the volcanoes. i found it very relaxed and peaceful. most of the staff was very kind but none of them speak english. if you're looking for more of a community feel and to meet other travelers, stay at casa mazata down the hill. if you're looking to get away from it all and have lovely views, stay at hotel juayua.

We stayed in the dorm and had it to ourselves! Everything was very clean and roomy, and there was huge amounts of lockable storage. The people running the place were quite friendly and helpful. Would recommend R&R restaurant and the El Cadejo for food if the food fest is not going on.

Friendly check in and shown to our nicely decored room. The setting for the hotel is stunning, with views over the volcanoes (especially at sunrise). There was plenty of space in the room, with a reasonably comfortable bed. However the sheets did not look very clean, and there were hairs and flies left on the floor. The shower was only tepid too, with poor quality towels. You are forbidden to take your own alcohol to the hotel, but they only have soft drinks, beer and red wine on offer at a 90% inflated prices to the local supermarket. You get use of a fridge in the kitchen, but this is locked overnight (no good if you want early coffee watching the view). The owner also owns  a coffee and orange plantation, but you get given carton orange for breakfast which is a bit strange. Swimming pool is skimmed daily and chemicals added, but they fail to scoop the leaves off the bottom of the pool, so I wouldn't trust the cleanliness. The ceiling must be paper thin too, as we could hear everything from the room above including the expulsion of gastric gas. Lots of cobwebs all over the room. The owner gave us a lift to the bus station which was a nice touch. Overall a lovely location, but only average value for the higher price compared to other options. They need to work on the cleanliness of the rooms.

Juayua is a busy village during the weekend gastronomic food festivals so we decided to book ahead and Hotel Juayua was our only option. We were soooo happy that was the case as this hotel is a total stunner. We walked into a lush grassy lawn complete with cute pool and jaw dropping sunset views out over the nearby volcanoes. Our room was huge and was actually two rooms, one with a day bed, deck chairs and this amazing view, the other with two double beds and cable TV. Wifi was superb. Breakfast was included and loved eating it on our wee sun drenched patio. Coffee was strong and deeeelicious. Treat yourself and spend a weekend here.

Juayua Hotel was the base of my second weekend getaway from San Salvador. I just happened to know the owner, so it was part of tour package I reserved which including a tour of a coffee plantation, coffee production factory, and hike to Los Chorros de la Calera. During my free time I went into the town to enjoy the Gastronomic Fair that had on Saturday. The room was very comfortable and in the perfect location to get WiFi signal and came with a big bed and two twins, the shower was equipped with hot water and good pressure; and the patio was set up for dining any time. Breakfast was included in the room and served hot on the patio each morning between 8am-10am. When I wanted a moto taxi into town, the receptionist always called and they came within 10 minutes or less. The cost of a taxi was $.40 but I always gave them $1. There is a supermarket (Super Selectos) in town where you can pick up beer, wine, snacks and ice(No refrigerators in room). My favorite restaurant was R&R Restaurant. During my stay it rain a lot so I didn't get the nice view that many do until the morning I was leaving. I had an overall pleasant stay with tours and enjoying the atmosphere and culture of Juayua. I would highly recommend this hotel to travelers and tourist visiting Juayua, El Salvador. Happy Travels!!!!

Hotel Juayua was our first hotel we stayed at upon getting to El Salvador, and it was an excellent choice. The Wifi worked in common areas or right outside our bedroom door. Which was fine with us. The Rooms were very clean and welcoming. We stayed in the room upstairs which we were able to watch the sunrise every morning (when it wasn't gloomy). There was a small fan in the room which we slept in from of and it worked just fine and glad it was there. The hotel was made of all wood which I loved.
The owner spoke english, and shared some stories with us one night. We liked our stay so much that we decided to stay there a thrid night. There was no breakfast in the morning however and coffee was served one morning. One of my favorite parts about this hotel was one of the workers name Corina, she was so friendly and welcoming to my boyfriend and I. She braided my hair and put beautiful flowers in between the braids.
The walk to the main market area was only a few blocks away which was perfect because the hotel was quiet. Juayua also had an awesome food festival which we loved. My favorite was the fried Yuka with the sweet sauce on top. Almost like a dessert. YUM!!! Hope you decide to stay here if you visit. Also there are gorgeous waterfalls near by. We walked to them which was an easy 35 min walk. Ask the locals.

"There are several rooms. We picked the upstairs room with two queens. A bit more rustic but the view was incredible. Downstairs there are three smaller rooms with two beds each and then one large room with two queens and a twin that opens up onto the patio. All have their own feel so you can check the photos out on the website to see what you prefer."
