Originally was very disappointed that the hotel is no longer adults only. However the staff continue to be amazing in every department, the hotel is super clean, the service at the bar is first class, the food is lovely the restaurant is very clean overall this hotel is well worth a visit we stopped in a junior suite 5429 and if you do want a quiet life I would definitely recommend paying the extra for prestige where it’s a little quieter. We do complain and Diego one of the Directors of Iberostar was more than happy to hear our complaint.. not so much can be said for Jet2 the rep was no where to be seen !!! We will be back thank you To all the staff for making our staff fantastic. 🥰
We'd never really been on a holiday where we did nothing before, but the service was great, rooms were fine but the food was superb and such a great variety. They need to do something about the 'reserving sunloungers' in advance however also just a short walk to the beach. Row of shops not far away too but we did little else. Evening entertainment varied but clearly optional.
Our second visit to this wonderful hotel and it won’t be our last. It really is five star luxury which caters for your every need. Food in the restaurant was top quality and has a vast selection at every sitting. The pool area has plenty of sun loungers available. Location wise, the hotel is situated next to a stunning, long beach in which you can walk for miles if that’s what you’re in to. All of the staff in the hotel are great but Ben in the hotel bar’s was very good and nothing was too much trouble for him. Overall a lovely holiday and can’t wait to come back
Ben, thank you for the amazing mojitos!!! We loved every single thing about this hotel, but specially ben’s mojitos. Ben is mojitos CR 7 Plus the hotel is really amazing, with amazing service and a great beach! We absolutely loved it! We will be back for shure
Great resort, right in front of the beach with great views. I think there should'e been some sirt of info available on check in or in rooms themselves about what is available without having as ask all the time to find out. I found it to be limited for vegetarians. Whilst there were options it was basic and not 5 star experience, definitely not in comparison to the non veg options available. One breakfast there were cheese and ham toasties preprepared ready to be made. I asked for cheese only, they did this by removing the ham and cooking it with a fried egg. I had to walk away, it was shocking that the chef didnt understand vegetarian or vegan diets. Some of the labelling want accurate so I didn't always try everything as I wasn't sure it was actually suitable for me. I read on a menu there were vegan burgers but never found them anywhere or weren't labelled so never had one. I often took bread or burg we r buns and made sandwiches myself using the salad as there wasn't much else other than chips or pizza. There was sometimes some other options but not on par with non veg options.…
All the staff from reception, cleaners, waiters, gardeners to bar staff are excellent, always have a smile and a greeting for you and are a credit to the hotel. Everything positive that other reviews have stated is true and it is a wonderful hotel, but we had an issue with the restaurant. There is a very good selection of food, although can be a little repetitive, and as most people say, its good quality. That is unless you are a coeliac with an intolerance to gluten that will make you ill. On the positives, they do provide some packaged gluten free products such as rolls and cakes for breakfast, and some bars do have gluten free lager which we have never seen before in other hotels. They will also make pizza and pasta to order. However, the chefs need to be taught about cross contamination, you cannot serve items as gluten free if you are using the same serving utensils on non-gluten free food, e.g. the fried eggs and fried bread. Also you should not put items that have come into contact with gluten back, e.g. the chips that have fallen into the deep fried onion ring crumbs, should not be put back in the chip dish. Also do not serve omelettes with the spatula that you have just mixed raw egg with. This was minor to the main concern though. The hotel label each dish with allergens (gluten, soy, celery, mustard, sesame, sulphates, egg, milk, nuts) which is brilliant, or it would be if it was accurate. Many dishes are marked up as gluten free but also marked as containing gluten. Others are marked as gluten free but are clearly not. This could make people ill. The matter was taken up with management, who took it seriously and one of our group met with them and the head chef to review that evening’s meal plan. The chef pointed out what was gluten free, but sadly still needed to be corrected. That night the same labeling errors occurred, even with the items that had been pointed out to him. A few days later, another of our group asked a junior chef about an item marked as gluten free. He got the packet from the freezer and it clearly stated it contained gluten (which was obvious and why he had been asked). He did the right thing and called the head chef over. He explained that this was a head office issue and that they had the same problem with vegan food containing dairy. He still did not remove the gluten free sign, knowing that it was incorrect and could cause someone to be ill. This is supposed to be his restaurant, his responsibility. He should have removed all signs until he was sure that they were correct. A sample of the many photo's are attached. The next day I asked another chef about an item marked gluten free, he just looked embarrassed and said don’t eat it. As you could not trust any of the labeling, it meant only plain meat and salads could be eaten, rather than some of the more luxurious offerings. If you have any sort of food allergy or intolerance, you should take serious care when selecting your food at this restaurant. And whoever translated ‘Lomo de cerdo abobado’ to English should really have their work checked, probably the worst swear word in English language!…
Spent a week at this hotel. On arrival no one took our luggage to the room. We had a sea view room and it was a maze to find. Rooms are ok but say over all the hotel needs refurbished. Food is good in the main restaurant. Pool bar food is poor. The menu items you need to pay and not included. Entertainment is awful. Although the hotel accepts kids it’s definitely not for them. My kids have managed to have fun , but other children may expect a lot more. Nice hotel for a complete rest but needs refining in areas
Honestly the perfect vacation. The Staff is very nice. Ben is the coolest waiter i have ever met. Give him a raise. I have never laughed so histerically with a waiter. The view is magnificent and the Rooms are clean and nic
