This was an expensive holiday, but having checked T.A., we expected something special. First The Good- lovely quiet gardens to relax in and excellent staff. Nice location and rooms very nice and clean. The not so good was the food. For the price we paid (via TUI) we expected wow food, whereas it was OK. The salad starter was very limited and repetitive and the main courses fine, but not special. I had read a number of reviews about lovely 'home cooking', but it was rather average I am afraid. Also beware, although charged half board by TUI we found that on our first night (Saturday) there was no dinner. I have since looked at the TUI website and a comment to this effect has been added, but it was not what we wanted for our first night! If you are not a 'foody' you will probably see nothing wrong, but we will not be back. It's a shame really as it was very relaxing.…

Booked through tui, one off best hotels we stayed in. Family run, staff so pleasant,helpful and professional. Stopped bed breakfast and evening meal. Food all delicious, 4 course meal in evening. Rooms very clean. Gardens wonderful. Best experience ever at a hotel, would highly recommend. Thank you all.

I second everything in the existing reviews of the Hotel Belvedere. It's a fantastic family run hotel the whole team are so friendly and welcoming, the hotel is simple, comfortable and has good clean rooms, the gardens are beautiful and perfect to relax in, I can see why people keep returning. Torrie's a wonderful place to base yourself to explore the lake and all it's villages, the buses & ferries are frequent and easy to use. We booked via TUI, but I would bother again but would do it all seperatly you the hotel can help you to arrange transfers and anything else you may need. If you're booked to visit, make sure you take yourself for a walk up the hill through the olive grove s and woodlands or take the local free bus up to visit the church. You really won't be disappointed by a stay at the belvedere or a visit to Torri…

Another wonderful stay at the Belvedere Hotel. This was our 5th stay here and everything was as before, with all staff going that bit extra to make your stay a greater experience. Spotless rooms (thankyou room service), beautiful gardens watched over by Mamma . Can't comment on the restaurant food at the hotel as we ate out all nights , but the dining room always looked packed . Thanks to the chosen one , or should I say Fausto, the man at the helm and comic extraordinaire. Thankyou Mamma , Fausto, Paola , Eliza , Sarah and Jade for making our stay amazing again.

We recently stayed at the Belvedere for a short break and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay for our first visit to Italy. Fausto, Elisa, Paola and all their staff made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. This is family run and they have created a very warm, friendly and charming environment here that makes you feel relaxed the minute you arrive! The hotel itself is delightful. The rooms are very comfortable and immaculate, as is the whole hotel. They have very pretty gardens with roses and lemon trees and plenty of outside space to sit and relax. The hotel is just a short 5-10 minute walk to the lake and we really liked coming back in the evenings and enjoying drinks from the bar and Fausto's great conversation and sense of humour. Torri itself is so pretty and although we only had time to see a few villages, this was our favourite. It has so much charm and an amazing waterfront. We will definitely come back and will stay at the Belvedere again. You simply cannot go wrong by staying with these wonderful people.…
