After 3 weeks of travelling, it was an absolute joy to stay here for a few days. The farm is such a relaxing & peaceful place to spend some time taking things easy. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with impala and other game wandering around. The new rescued zebra was an added bonus, he is such a friendly chap. The pool area is lovely, very clean and it was great to be able to relax there. The impala cottage we stayed in was perfect, really well equipped, very clean with a great braii & seating area. The owners are really helpful & friendly and it was lovely to receive a gift on Mother’s Day from them. The location of the farm is great being only a few minutes from town. We hated having to leave and wished we could have spent a few more days but hopefully will visit again in our next SA trip. …
6 of us, 3 couples, took the Bosveld Cottage and were impressed by the spaciousness and comfort. The cottage has 3 ensuite bedrooms and 2 more upstairs which are ideal for the young generation. The cottage is much better equipped than most for self catering and has a big outside covered braai area. Impala, Blesbok, a Nysala bull and sheep roam the area and often graze outside the cottages. There is a nice clean pool and a covered games area. Bela Bela is only a few minutes away so Ithabiseng is good place to stay for several days to explore the area and the nearby Waterberg, or to use as a stopover. Liz was away but her son made us very welcome and went out of his way to be helpful.
Just 5 minutes drive from the local shopping centre in Bela Bela, we arrived at this beautiful guest farm for a weekend trip with friends. Liz and Carl were very accomodating of our big group and made sure we were all comfortable. The units were all very neat and clean and there were plenty of games for the kids. The braai area at Bosveld was large enough for us all to gather for a great evening together. It was so good to get out of the city and enjoy the sounds of the birds and being amoung the beautiful gardens and bokkies. Truly a memorable weekend. Thank you!
Located just outside Bela Bela, South Africa, this Guest Farm has 5 very comfortable, good, clean and fresh chalets, fully equipped, sitting on the veranda watching wild animals run by! Also beautiful brand new pool, nearby many eateries, attractions and activities. Highly recommended
My husband and I spent a week at Ithabiseng Guest Farm. From the moment we drove into the gates, we could feel that we had left the hustle and bustle of city life. Our chalet (as with all chalets) had a beautiful view. Coffee in the wee hours on the verandah, waiting for the most incredible sunrises, to chilling in the evening to an equally exquisite sunset. The grazing of buck on our doorstep was something to behold. Our chalet had everything required. A mini "home from home". Our hosts, Carl and Liz were amazing, and their friendliness will certainly ensure that this would be our destination of choice when next we are looking to escape the "Big City Life"!
