The grounds and pools are generally well-kept, according to reviews, although occasional lapses in pool cleanliness are noted.

It was an annual sojourn to Warmbaths almost 7hrs away from the coast of Durban. With 22 family members in 4 vehicles we set out at 4.30 am.
I have been to and reviewed the place before but i would love to share the brand new 10 sleepers built leaving no stone unturned in ultimate luxury with all the trimmings. For starters 4 en suite rooms in the 4 corners of this massive house. Each ensuite has a shower and a bath tun with hand showers. Total 8 bath areas...can u get any better? The open plan state of the art kitchen dining area and massive lounge opens into a large patio with 10 setting chairs and table total braai and eat area. The unit is tastefully designed modern furnishings aircons and the works. See pics attached
The tidal wave pool was awesome manned by life guards all along. The area is well maintained child friendly and every effort taken for safety of guests. Facilities are adequate because most are guests that go bk to chalets to change and stuff
Hydro and indoor pool very neat well maintained and very good security at all times.

Cheaper chalet and not to put prices up it is becoming very expensive at you resort even the campsite is expensive. Look at cleaning pools early in the morning the main pool gets very dirty.
Day visitors to leave on time and to put more dust bins on the property.

overall the stay was pleasant with the pools and hydro in good condition, the 6 sleeper chalets although recently fixed up being an old favorite is in need of some very needed upgrades.especially to the lounge and kitchen areas. Unnecessary ugly large iron furniture in the kitchen and lounge causes the area to loose its comfort and ability to cater for 6 people .
The current 6 sleeper chalet should rather be called a 4 sleeper (loose the sleeper couch and crappy chairs and add better couches ).
The bedrooms could also do with and upgrade as the current double beds are really tiny.and uncomfortable.
Overall we had a good stay with the kids really enjoying the pools and outdoor stuff ...ps the spur was excellent but an addition of another eatery serving a different cuisine would also be a welcomed addition

This was a not worth it: for R170pp for most of the day we just had a super tube to ride and nothing else. First the speed slides were not working which should have been stated on the website before I booked. Second, the wave pool was not working all morning and when I asked after 2 hours, I was told by a life guard that it was broken. Then the tube ride was switched off at 1pm, so all we had to ride was a super tube, so I went to complain. Management told me that the wave pool was never broken and had been running every hour on the hour, which it had not as we had been specifically watching. So we were lied to about it being broken. Management also said that the tube ride should never have been switched off. So if you go there and the wave pool is not working, go straight to management and find out, don't waste 4 hours like I did.

If you are looking for a quick family holiday or a day trip this is the place to go. It’s hot pools are relaxing for the parents while the kids can enjoy a range of activities from water slides to putt putt to organised competitions by the friendly staff. You can bring your own food and beverages but the food in the park is very reasonably priced. The facilities are immaculate with plenty of soft green grass and shad to sit under. This is defiantly a hidden gem.

booked at Warmbaths to celebrate my sons 7th birthday, what was a well thought of plan turned into an absolute nightmare. the first night we checked in, and then noticed that few items on the inventory list was not in the chalet, we notified the reception immediately of which the receptionist signed and advised that house keeping would resolve the next day, I then asked if there isn't a sheet for the sleeper couch, how will the kids sleep there? I was told that someone will bring it to the room, eventually we took a blanket a placed it on the bed and my kids slept, NO ONE brought the sheet that night, the next day we woke to find that there was no electricity, we live in South Africa and this has become a daily reality, after going out for breakfast we returned to the chalet to find that the chalet was cleaned but there was still bugs and insects from the night before. but then also noticed that there was 2 bathing towels short. i went to the reception and notified Vusi, who then called house keeping and advised that i can go to the pools and he will arrange that the bathing towels be brought to the unit. i left, and enjoyed a full day at the pools, when the sun started going down we proceeded to the hydro and spent our time there, just as the hydro was closing, we decided to pack up and go to the chalet, it was at this point that we noticed everything was pitch black, yes another power cut. so that means no food could be cooked, showering water was cold, and on top of that the towels was not put in the room... i then proceeded to go to the reception which was closed at 9pm despite the board saying they are open until 10pm. the security then called the manager on Duty whos name is Donald, Donald came to the security boot without acknowledging me standing a few meters away and proceeded to scream at the security telling them to tell the customer that he will try and fix the issue. i then called Donald and raised all my concerns with him. the absolute nightmare stay that we are having, the first night, no sheets, the second day full of power cuts and now no towels to bath with. he responded by saying that an SMS was sent out, due to the nature of your business is an SMS really working smarter? people are in pools and trying to spend family time, i then showed Donald my phone that NO sms was received. to which his response was he doesn't know and that i should take it up with Sam who is the senior manager in the morning. UNACCEPTABLE

We had a voucher from 2020 (as we could not visit due to COVID 19 lockdown) . The receptionist at Warmbath. Kotlego, made the re booking process very pleasant and professional. We were treated with profound respect. When we arrived a few days later she met us at reception and remembered who we are and our requests.
The resort maintains covid 19 protocol. Very well-maintained property.
The only downfall was that the Spur at the premises is fully Halal. You cannot get a bacon for breakfast and no alcohol is served...

After visiting Warmbaths Forever Resort I have quite a mixed review.
Although my kids thoroughly enjoyed the swimming and waterslides we were really disappointed in the accommodation. We stayed in 'n 6-sleeper chalet at the rate of R4070 for our first nights stay (high season) and R6850 for our second nights stay (peak season). The condition of the chalet were utterly disappointing. It was a struggle to open the sliding door and when we finally got it open, it nearly fell out of the frame. The shower door in the main bedroom was broken, it kept swinging open resulting in a wet floor after every shower. The couch in the living room could not be used to sit on with the springs on the inside of the couch broken. This left 6 people with only 2 seats in the living area. Just when I thought it couldn't get worse, we switched on the air conditioning of the two rooms with single beds, only to find out that is makes such a noise that we had to switch it of to be able to sleep.
I sent an e-mail to bring all of the above under the attention of management. They did offer us the option to move to another chalet, which is nice, but we were leaving the next morning already and to move two elderly people (my parents who were staying with us) to another chalet at 16:00 on our last days stay just didn't seem practical or reasonable.
In my opinion paying R6850 for the poor condition of the chalet is very unreasonable. I requested a discount on our last nights stay, to which they agreed on refunding us 30% of our last nights stay. This was obviously highly appreciated.
Unfortunately, after sending them my banking details and id as they requested, I didn't receive any response.
I am still waiting for the promised discount or at least any form of communication regarding this sticky situation.
Apart from the accommodation, the grounds of the resort is well kept, the cleaning staff are very friendly and kids love the water slides and activities.
I would suggest visiting Warmbaths as a day visitor, but would not make use of the accommodation because of the high rates and what you get for your money.

When searching for a camping resort, Forever Resort Warmbaths ticks all the boxes. The luxury camp site is always clean, with green grass and trees. There is assistance available if needed when setting up. The ablution facilities are always clean and it has a washing machine and tumble dryer which always comes in handy with kids. I have been camping at this same resort for 16 years and the standard has remained high and there are always improvements.

We visited warm baths with much excitement however left disappointed.
Our room was dated, and didn't have plug to charge phones. The kitchen didnt have a multi plug so you couldnt use the kettle and toaster together. The hydro needs ti be washed/painted inside and out. Overall the hydro felt neglected.
