It was our 40th Wedding Anniversary. The venue was excellent. We had a lovely time. The room was beautiful and the staff went our of their way to cater to our needs. Really enjoyed our stay and we would love to go back in summer.
NIce lodge, nice people, nice nature and I enjoed the animals very much. beautiful to expierece the lion feeding. I will certainly come back. it was cheap and very well. pure African style. I recomend a stay overthere.
Beautiful nature reserve, wonderful lodge with great staff and delicious meals. Very nice room with a great view, the outdoor shower was a plus. Game drives and visit to the lions in the sanctuary made our stay unforgettable. Make sure to drive a large car or 4 x 4 as the last part of the gravel road is bad, lot of potholes in times of heavy rainfall.
Amazing staff, tasy dinner, clean and spacious rooms with a balcony, view and outside showers. One of the loveliest stays. I would go back for the jacuzzi, heated pool and of course the spa. Unfortunately, are visit was short.
your staff are excellent rooms are always neat, clean and comfortable in future, build rooms in such a way that i do not hear my neighbors lol sound in the rooms exposes what one says or does in the next room animal feeding was brilliant fire place was so comfortable your guides have good customer service night life is nice at your place
Extremely quite location - except some lion roaring during the night:-)) Staff is extraordinarily friendly and service minding. Interesting game drive through lion sanctuary. Go there - even when the last 15 km on D180 are a bit bumpy
Nice lodge with good facilities but as it is far from everything with a difficult gravel road the food should be good. We must say the food was poor and that is the reason that we will not visit this establishment again. That includes breakfast and dinner.
Schrikkloof Private Nature Reserve is a lovely, quaint and homely place that is full of loving hosts. Richard, Anna and Craig all ensured that the family was taken cared of. My elderly mum couldn't manage all the steep stairs and they were very accommodating to assist her.
we had an amazing short stay at the Schrikkloof nature reserve. Very clean and secluded resort with Nyala roaming right outside our balcony. the amazing work these guys are also doing for rehoming lions from Overseas are amazing. Seen plenty game on the game drive and Craig was so informative on both the Fauna and Flora we encountered. The food was absolutely amazing and was such a great relaxed time. will definitely be visiting again (just on a longer period next time round)
