This is not a 5 star hotel. Rooms are spatious enough, internet and airco do function, at least in my room and the bathroom is ok. Carpets and some orher equipment are outdated however, it makes the room look a bit sloppy. Difficult to get some food after 9 pm, the restaurant on the 1st floor was closed already, luckily my host was chinese. The breakfast buffet was quite ok too with a lot of choice and good coffee. Quality of some of it was very average Not a bad place to stay and not expensive. Didn't have time to enjoy the park ontje other side of the road.

Stayed one night on business. Check-in was quite friendly and efficient - with the staff speaking quite good English. The room was fairly basic, but clean & tidy. Shower & bathroom were good, with plenty of hot water, and a separate tap for drinking water - clearly labelled in English. There was a good wi-fi signal in the room - but for some reason my laptop was unable to connect to it.There was an attempt to provide western food at the breakfast buffet - but the local food looked much more appetising.

This is a five star hotel with good service and great beds but no wi fi and only one plug point in a not very convenient spot for charging phones, laptops and I pads. They need to update this and offer wi fi. At the buffet breakfast which is good the coffee/tea service was not very good. Overall reasonable hotel.

Liangyungang is a smaller industrial town and most overseas travellers are here for business. As a base for visiting suppliers this was a good location and the hotel is clean but not brand new. Stayed here one night in November, heating was good enough although to get a bit of air I opened a window. Did not eat in the hotel so cannot comment on the restaurant.

I've been once in this hotel: let me say that the overall is not bad but cannot be a 5-star hotel as the plate is showing to all visitors. Nevertheless i cannot say that is bad, it's just a way to see a potential to improve. Other hotels are 4 star from 5 because they are decaying, here is a 4 star because they are trying hard to improve but they still need a final push to arrive to 5. Average good but: 1) no plugs in the room, unless you remove piece of furniture or you sneak somewhere under the table (5-star cannot be like this!) 2) the breakfast room is a sort of canteen, full of big round tables, little western food is available (which is OK in a 3 star hotel in central China, but not a 5 star hotel in a coastline city)

I have stayed at this hotel several times, and find it to offer friendy and reliable serice, although some staff at the reception area (especially at night) and the Business Centre speak little English. The breakfast buffet on the ground floor is fine, offering a wide array of Chinese options, fresh fruit, cereal and an egg and noodle bar. I enjoy the firm beds at this hotel, but the bedroom carpets are in need of replacement - they are worn and stained; slippers are a must. Internet access is readily available, but no wi-fi. I find the bedrooms to always be too warm, regardless of the time of year that I travel. The ones located at the front of the hotel are particularly stuffy, as they face south and the sun beats in on them all day long. The lobby area is quite vast, as is typical in China, but there is no seating area (except a few seats hidden behind some large columns). I am not sure why it was desinged like that, but it makes waiting for people a bit of a hassle, especially if they (or you) are late and you have to wait around. There is a nice park directly in front of the hotel and it is a pleasant break to walk through or around it.

We just came to hotel because the airport was closed for bad weather. We stay only for opne night and we did not tested all hotel services. Hotel is very nice, nice room, nice breakfast buffet. Good Internet connection in Room. Room Carpet not really clean, Spa with massage, sufficient, not very good. Do not take the bus to Airport, it will need 1 hour and half for just 20 Km, better take taxi.

Hotel is about 45 min from the airport of Lianyungang. Rooms are quite large, with carpet and all normal facilities. Bathrooms have a bathtub. Bed is had, but not as hard as many other places in China. Electric plugs are quite spares, so bring an extension cord, when you need a plug next to the bed. For the desk, you need to plug in below the desk. Internet is quite fast and free of charge. Nice surprise. Skype, VPN, iChat etc work well. Breakfast is very chinese. For my taste lousy, but some might think it is OK. Dinner was buffet, but not very good. TV has all major channels, incl DW, BBC etc.
