Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We stumbled upon it by chance only because I only had a weekend available and it was one of the very few facilities that allowed stays of less than a week in August in that area.
We were pleasantly surprised right away. Very kind owner who also helped us with our luggage and immediately gave us directions on the place.
Our simple room but with everything you need, very spacious (2 large bedrooms and a very large bathroom), clean rooms (no fridge in the room but owner available for anything). Common areas with sea views of the port and the city. excellent breakfast.
a stone's throw away, passing along a path that is actually a little dangerous to do with small children, you reach one of the few beaches of fine sand which is not immediately deep... (in reality it is very close to the port but we found it clean and comfortable) . Otherwise, using the car there are several choices for the sea.
The roadside parking is the only flaw (if you want to find it), otherwise the structure is highly recommended

Beautiful B&B in Vibo Marina harbor, a natural site to visit Eolian Island, only 43 sea miles. Familiar condition with excellent view of coast, very good rooms, swimming in the garden. To be appreciate the care of particular and friendly welcome. Local attractions as Vibo Marina for beach and sea, Pizzo 4km for famous ice cream (tartufo), Tropea 25km and Cape Vatican for tourism on the fantastic sea. To visit the famous "l'Approdo" restaurant with excellent fish, and "Approdocafè" for happy hours.

We were a group of 12 and stayed at this B&B for one night on 5th January 2014. The place smelled of cigarettes (which the owners smoke continuously) and of their 3 large dogs that the kept inside. Some of the quilt covers were full of the dogs' fur. The place was otherwise clean. The air conditioners/heaters were not all functioning leaving some rooms too cold to sleep comfortably. I definitely do not recommend staying in this B&B, especially in winter as I suspect that the place did not have guests for a while and the owners weren't expecting anyone before we called them the night before.
