Self catering chalets in the Kruger National Park overlooking the Crocodile River. All chalets have fully equipped kitchens, en suite bathrooms, plunge pools, private deck with outdoor braai facilities.
I stayed at uBhuti Lodge at Mjejane Game Reserve owned by brothers Bradley and Michael Grobler. The property was great and we enjoyed our stay. What was terribly disappointing is that, whilst the property informed me that they would refund my deposit within 7-10 business days, this never happened. I am still waiting for said deposit. I have followed up on several occasions and I am met with apologies and that they are working on it. This was quite an unfortunate end to a wonderful stay.

Wonderful luxury self-catering chalet but in need of some maintenance. Staff however fixed problems very quickly. Staff also friendly and committed towards this lovely lodge. During the game drives many animals can be seen but it would have been insightful if the rangers could share more interesting facts about the veld and share knowledge. Birding knowledge definitely lacking.

we had the pleasure of spending 2 nights in the Mjejane bush camp chalets . Request a river frontage. However this is value for money and its luxury. For the price of a crappy outdated and tired Rondavel in the kruger, go to Mjejane. This is a Big Bay tours location of choice when visiting Kruger. Easy access in the psrk and in the afternoon and evenings watch the animals from the pool on your verandah. Game watching inside the private open to kruger reserve is amazing..if you are going to spend the Kruger type money go luxury cheaper....Sanpark will need to stop ripping people off with the spartan accommodation at luxury hotel prices

The best wildlife experience you will get. Big 5 area. Part of the Greater Kruger Park. Oen access bridge in Kruger Park. Lions roaring at night. Hippos fighting in the crocodile river. Ellies walking as silent as they can past the fence in front of your house. Will go back every year!

Beautiful spacious accommodations, and that’s it. The unit seem to be too close to each other as we we constantly disturbed by noisy neighbours. For the last morning of our stay, we booked the early morning drive, & the ranger just never pitched. We called to enquire & we’re told that he’d be there in 15 minutes (6:30am), that became 7am & then we just cancelled. Really disappointing!

Absolute luxury in the bushveld! We spent a midweek here with our family including teens and kids and everyone loved it. Service was top-notch, friendly and efficient. Our ranger on the game drive was very knowledgeable. We were visited by warthogs and a genet right on our stoep and our alarm clock was a bunch of vervet monkeys on the roof just after 6am! And what's better than to chill on the stoep, listening to the sounds of the wild at sunset with the braai going and to wake up to tranquility. We'll definitely be back!

I spent a week in a Mjejane bush Lodge with my Partner Sandy and We had a most amazing week with option of travelling in a game drive vehicle around Mjejane Game reserve, or taking our own vehicle into the Kruger National Park. The Mjejane accommodation was a self catering 2 bedroom 4 sleep unit with its own outside shower and roof top Jacuzzi. The management and staff in the Bush lodge are always available to help whenever Possible. I come back to Mjejane every year and I have never left there unhappy.

Everything about our break at Mjejane Bush Camp was perfect and memorable. Mjejane is spectacular. Getting there from Johannesburg couldn't be simpler. It's all toll road and then a very short drive on a well maintained dirt road from the main road to the River Lodge and Bush Camp. The accommodation is luxurious enough to make you feel pampered but rustic enough to feel the Bush. Each bedroom is well appointed, the kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, the dining and living area is large and airy and the outside area is spacious with all amenities and a perfect view of the river. The bonus is the private splash pool. The accommodation is clean and well-maintained. Lovely linen and towels – the type of crisp linen and white fluffy towels you expect in luxury accommodation. The air conditioning throughout is an absolute lifesaver in the December Lowveld heat. The staff couldn't be more friendly and attentive. Our ranger, Dennis, crept into our hearts. He was sincere, professional, knowledgeable and ever so friendly. He’s justifiably known as the Leopard man. He can spot a leopard in a tree at 200m. Nothing is too much effort for him. Speaking generally about the game viewing, it is nothing short of the best we've ever had. We saw all the Big 5 on almost every game drive, including a large pride of lions feasting on a fresh kill. On our last night we were treated to 2 male lions walking on the riverbank across from our apartment. Most incredible of all was how affordable the amenities were. Unreservedly recommended. …

If you looking for the peace and tranquility of the Bush then look elsewhere - especially during School Holidays. We have just had to endure a week at the River Chalets of 7 kids and 8 Adults in a Chalet next to us screaming and shouting from sunrise to sunset. Even though we alerted the problem to Management on several occasions the problem persisted so I doubt any action was ever taken. I was thinking of buying here but I’m sticking to Kruger where they know how to enforce the rules and one can genuinely appreciate the “quiet” of the Bush.

4 night stay - good location, nice setting and good view from the upper lookout deck. Spacious accommodation, wifi, 2 outdoor showers, pool, jacuzzi (not heated), boma and patio - all well maintained. The whattsapp chat group had a few posts requesting rowdy neighbours to quieten down. Thankfully we were unaffected as our unit was situated some distance from the noisier chalets overlooking the Crocodile River. Water was disrupted for a good few hours on one day. The game drive - should be renamed "booze and ciggie" night drive. We had the unpleasant experience of being with 6 other adults who boozed, puffed on cigarettes and chirped their way all through a 2,5 hour long night drive. Instead of listening to the wild african plains - I heard the clanking of empty alcohol bottles, incessant senseless chatter and inhaled cigarette smoke. The pièce de résistance was listening to an adult male relieve himself, or as Lebs our guide approvingly said "marking your territory". Thankfully the 2 adult females were quieter when they emptied their tanks. Halfway through the drive - I was almost certain that it was all a prank and that Leon Schuster would jump out from behind a bush and yell out "Ek het jou". Alas, he didn't and it wasn't. Mjejane Bush Camp - kindly enforce rules on game drives and etiquette.…
