Cortona is also around an hour from the Villa and there's plenty of lessa known but inspiring places to visit nearby like the historic Medieval Town of Loro Ciuffenna with its beautiful tower, bridge and waterfalls and Pieve di Gropina or the hidden Art treasures in the churches in San Giovanni Valdarno...all a Stone thrown from the Villa !
