This is a really cute, quiet hotel overlooking it own private little jungle providing a rustic feel. Not too far from beautiful lake Coatepeque or from Cerro Verde national park (and the Santa Ana Volcano) also a short drive from downtown Santa Ana. The rooms were simple and clean. Nothing fancy but have everything you need (shower w/ hot water, AC, smart TV). The "restaurant" was really just a kitchen where the staff would prepare meals for us, there was no real menu we just ate what they had available that day. The whole experience felt more similar to an airbnb rental than a Hotel per-se but the staff was very welcoming and extremely helpful, especially Sandra. The biggest downside is that there's really nothing within walking distance of the hotel so you will want to have a car to be able to see the sights and go to some of the really nice restaurants on the lake. The staff will provide shuttles to/from the lake and potentially other nearby locations on request but a car will really add nice flexibility to your stay. We visited during the week after Christmas and there were very few guests and clearly not the full staff. I believe at other times in the year the hotel would have a more lively bar&restaurant area which would have made the stay more fun but overall we loved it and would definitely recommend.
