This location was a last minute booking for us. The staff was friendly and the proximity was very close to the airport. Glad we could stay with them when our flight off the island was canceled. The restaurant was closed for renovations when we were there, but it looks to be a nice little place.

We weren't meant to stay here as we were on our flight back to the UK. However upon landing in St Lucia to pick up and drop off some passengers, we were informed there was a hole on the runway and we had to disembark the plane. No arrangements were made for us by the airline, so after spending roughly 9 hours in the airport, (most of it spent sitting or sleeping on the floor), we managed to find this little gem of a guest house. The receptionist Tasha organised a taxi for us from the airport and back as well. They allowed us a two bedroom air conditioned apartment which was great for my party of four. It was clean and had everything we needed (and things we didn't as well) - kitchen, shower, beds, TV, fridge, washer/dryer. The cost was $140 USD which I thought very fair based on our short notice and odd hours requested. We got some sleep and when we woke up ordered some food from the restaurant. It was absolutely delicious and so reasonably priced. So, for an unexpected trip after having had an awful night, this was a welcome retreat for us. There is no swimming pool or gym and it isn't fancy, but it's near to the airport and the staff are absolutely amazing and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Thanks a million Jonelle for taking time to leave us this amazing review. The staff at the restaurant are glad you enjoyed their food. It was a pleasure having you and your family stay with us although it was short.

We booked the Aupic Paradise before we left Canada as a final-night, close to the airport hotel before our flight home. Only 5 minutes from Hewanorra International, it made for an easier trip to the airport than driving all the way down from Rodney Bay for an early WestJet flight to Toronto. The front desk clerk was pleasant when we arrived and explained his POS machine wasn't functioning properly (on omen of things to come?) so we paid in cash. We were assigned room #5 which was small but clean and on the second floor. My wife used the washroom but complained it wouldn't flush. Upon investigation, the flush mechanism was missing and the tank was empty. There was no way to flush the toilet. Downstairs to the clerk we went who changed us to apartment #2. This was a multi-room abode with unplugged appliances, a lack of screens on the windows, and an air conditioning unit which absolutely refused to work. At least the toilet flushed. We decided to stay there as we weren't sure what other options we had. We spent a fitful night dealing with no-see-ums (no screens, remember?) howling dogs, the same frogs from Rodney Bay, loud motorcycles, and the knowledge there was no coffee for the morning or onsite services (the clerk had cleared out at around 8:00 pm and we were on our own). The advertised onsite restaurant doesn't exist, by the way. At least we couldn't find it, even if it was closed. We did have hot water for a shower in the morning, though. At least something. And the place has "good bones," but needs a huge upgrade in everything from technology to basic stuff like working toilets, screens on the windows and fixtures/appliances. They deserve two stars if only for their proximity to the airport and the availability of hot water. Much, much work to be done though before I'd rate it any higher than 2. And my friends (and wife) would probably tell you I'm being generous. My final suggestion would be to just call it the "Aupic." It saves sign space and is not misleading like the current name.

They should have this place under ‘rip off’ in the dictionary. Avoid at all costs. Overcharged room rate, 3x what was quoted us. No food no drinks no air conditioning in our room. In sketchy neighborhood with street noise and drunks outside.

Dreadful spot on a dreadful island. Were accosted by furious teen gang the moment we exited our taxi, promised to “F us up,” which was a great welcome to this dump for my wife and kids. No pool, crappy smelly room, bugs. This place just cheerless, with no amenities and no restaurant despite their claim of one. I booked on Expedia but they added a resort fee which doubled the price. Unbelievable. Lastly, the manager ripped us off by telling us the 1 mile morning cab ride to airport was 20 EC, then told taxi driver when he arrived , “I mean $20 US.” I WILL NEVER EVER RETURN TO ST LUCIA.

We stayed here for a night and found it to be a clean and welcoming place. The room had A/C and we slept comfortably. It's in a neighborhood and there's not much around, so you'll need a taxi service or car to get around (including to get food, etc). They recommended a taxi service that turned out to be a great resource during our stay! Recommended for a brief stay.

This is a very clean, basic inn. We found it to be perfect for our one night stay near the main St. Lucia airport. It's located in a residential neighbourhood, 5 minutes taxi from the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Pros: very clean room. Very small (most basic room) but that’s all we needed for one night. Working mini fridge. Receptionist stayed a bit late since our flight got in at about 10:30pm. Very close to airport. Booked a taxi in advance and paid about 10 usd each way to and from the airport. Cons: extremely noisy. Loud music playing till almost 2am. Lukewarm water at best. Says 24hr security but I’m pretty sure that just meant they had security cameras going 24hrs. I wouldn’t not have felt comfortable staying here if I had my kid with me. Bed wasn’t very comfortable either.

We stayed for a night as the hotel is near the airport and we didn't want to drive unknown roads at night. Reception was welcoming and the room comfortable. We booked a deluxe sea view room but the sea is a very long way off and i wouldn't rate the room as Deluxe. However the price seemed reasonable for what we got. There is a shared balcony but we had it to ourselves that evening. We didn't have breakfast and the restaurant is closed for other meals at present (Sept 18). Aupic Paradise was great for a night but I don't think I would spend longer there.
