The Resort is immersed in a sublime natural landscape without peer in the entire Mediterranean. It stands in the Tavolara marine reserve near one of the island’s most beautiful beaches, Lu Impostu, about 1 km long. The 78 suites and rooms are spacious, modern and elegantly furnished. I had a very good time, the location is great, Very easy to find and not far from the Airport of Olbia! The Beach was fantastic and the staff does it best to make sure your stay is unique! I recommend a massage at the Spa, they really know how to make you feel relaxed!

Location is amazing, very relaxing and quiet atmosphere. The perfect place to switch off if you live an hectic life all year around. Free yoga group lessons 3 times a week with Simona who is very kind and accommodating. The hotel staff is very professional, friendly and always with a big smile. They have a very attentive guest relations team who checks on you everytime they see you. We met Marlena, she is a force of nature, who never missed a chance to ask us about our stay and how to make it special. The food is awesome but the service in the restaurant can be improved, when restaurant is busy it slows down a lot but it's still pleasant. The beach does not have services such as lockers or bathrooms, I have been told by the staff that is due to limitations to preserve the natural reserve and I agree that is a good idea. You feel surrounded by pristine nature and a crystal clear water. What can I say, a true reflection of what people expect Sardinia to be. My daughter loved staying at the kids club which gave me and my wife the opportunity to relax completely I will definitely consider coming back in the future

If you look to the website “baglionihotels.com” you read “opened on June 1st 2021”. Somebody might believe that the hotel was newly built but unfortunately that is wrong. This resort was only bought by Baglioni and reopened this year. If you look to the details you see that a refurbishment is more than necessary. What is top is the friendliness of the staff with the exception of the staff on the beach. The rooms are ok, the view from the rooms not, the rates are totally overpriced. To reach the beach you have to do a walk of around 500 m! But don’t believe that the hotel runs something like a little “beach club” there. You don’t get something to eat and unfortunately there are no toilets. The website shows you a nice picture of the beach which gives you the impression it is only for hotel guests. Forget it - you share the beach with hundreds of people from everywhere. There is also a pool with sun beds on carpets. If you have a look to the carpets you can imagine quite well which food was served here earlier. Not necessary to come back.

The hardest part is leaving…. We stayed 12 nights at the Baglioni resorts for our summer holidays. As you can see in my profile, we have reviewed quite a few hotels in the same categories over the years, just to qualify the comments. Rooms Absolutely stunning. We had a family suite, perfect for a family of 4. A true sense of classy luxury and it’s all in the details, from the quality of the linen, to the perfectly silent air conditioning all the way to the beautiful garden and terrasse. Ah yes all suites are private villas in design, giving you a true sense of a privileged and intimate hideout. Service The true soul and usp of baglioni hotels. As with our stays in France and Italy, we find the same customer oriented service, always excelling to deliver a unique and superior experience. It starts from check in, we arrived early from the boat but we felt right at home. Seamless private checkin sitting in a beautiful lounge with complimentary fresh fruits, juices and beverages. The hotel then offered us breakfast until the room was ready and off we were to the beach and pool, with our own chauffeured golf cart - what a great way to start the holidays. tails that make your holiday from great to unique. The service at the bar is great, a great mixologist provides you with crafty cocktails all day long with a perfect and always smiling staff to provide you with everything you need. All the excursion were personalised for us and all the restaurant recommendations were stunning and the hotel always manages to get the best table, not sure if it was luck but wow. You just truely feel special Beach & pool Ok, I’ve been to Tahiti, Fiji, Maldives, Caribbean etc… but this was just breathtaking. By far the best beach I saw in the Mediterranean area and only challenged by Bora Bora. The water is crystal blue, and shallow so the kids are safe all the way to safety bouée. Hot shower at disposal and spritz on the beach :) yes they have their own little beach casita with cocktails and delicacies served at your sunbed. Heaven right? The team is also very friendly and great to organise all the activities for the kids like renting boats and water sports. Oh yes as mentioned you are chauffeured to the beach with a golf cart. The pool is stunning and a perfect way to end the day. Just pure calm and serenity with private cabanas and great pool service. I know it’s a detail but the stones used to make all the walkways are amazing. You’ll see the beach sand gets pretty hot, but the stones at the hotel are cool all day long even under the roaring sun. Now that’s the kind of little detail that just make the holiday perfect. Restaurants Food was beautiful. From the pool menu to the Michelin star restaurant. By the pool, the sandwich are just great with fresh avocados and shrimps, beautiful melon and prosciutto and amazing snacks The main restaurant is great. It starts with breakfast where you can order fresh omelettes with melting mozzarella and ham, chocolate crepes and they have the most amazing selection of fresh pastries made on site, freshly backed cakes and pies and the most tasty fruits you’ve had in a long time (I personally recommend watermelon with fresh ricotta) Diner was always an experience. Amazing view and setting. My favorites were the lamb risotto, the pane frattau and the freshly caught fish. The Michelin restaurant is a class of its own, we dined their 3 times to try all the dishes. I highly recommend the tasting menu and the wow à la carte were the pasta Vongole with bottarga and the lobster. Like I said the hardest part is leaving…. This is definitely in my top 3 resorts ever and I cannot wait to return.

Sardinia is absolutely amazing … Hotel:- really nice area around the bar and Pool - friendly and helpful staff at the rezeption desk with perfekt 5 star behavior and friendlyness-also the guy's at the bar-good breakfast buffet -you pay 700€ a day for a very very small room , really a joke for that kind of pricerange with old parts and in no appropriate style and shape they renovated the bathrooms - the quality of the food in the main restaurant is not really good we tried it twice for dinner and lunch. middle quality and expensive isn’t a good combination ….. - the waiter at the restaurant are mostly slow / unmotivated / nearly no one understands any English words and You wait hours for anything -you find really nice restaurants with a high quality of food around the resort - the beach is really crowded and full There ist no privat Beach or something like that as you see pictures at Instagram , the sun beds are extreme closley placed so no 5 stars just something you can rent everywhere here for 20€ a day, you don’t get complimentary water or anything like that you always have to pay 6€ for a water at the hotel -No service at the beach - one day we asked for a sun bed at the first row at the beach at 3 pm — 10 bed’s were free no one was there in the row - so the beachboy from the hotel told us every bed is reserved we can’t get one — so I discussed with him 5 minutes to get one ;-)) perfekt service —. So the hotel is quiet good but definitely no 5 stars except for the location and the staff at the reception, for 700€ a night you can find much more cooler and stylish hotels around the world with better service / quality of food and friendliness ….

Dear 284Olafl, Thank you for sharing your opinion. I would like to apologise if your stay was not fully up to your expectations. I will share your positive comments with the team at the front desk who will be motivated by your remarks. In regards to the other outlets I am fully aware that at this stage, since we opened the 1st of June after a year of Pandemic, there are a lot of aspects related to the service that need to be improved. However, I strongly believe that the constructive and detailed feedback that you have provided will help me bring the level of service at the highest standards very soon. I hope to be awarded your trust again in the future and welcome you again at Baglioni Resort Sardinia for an authentic memorable experience in this little side of paradise called Sardinia. Kind Regards, Federico
