Great location for visiting Beautiful Otranto. Bright and large room on the 2nd floor in this hotel full of nautical exhibition pieces. Good breakfast but the star of the show is the staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. They booked restaurants, horse riding and even a complimentary boat trip always with a smile. Special mention to Paula who was very helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel in most respects. The food was decent, the rooms were clean, if a bit musty-smelling. Our room looked out on little road just outside the window, with apartments on the other side. The manager said it was safe to leave the window open despite street access, so we did. The staff were very considerate.

Hotel is in a great location. Friendly, helpful staff. Normally do not eat in restaurants of hotels but dinner was included. We were so glad we ate there. Innovative menu featuring mainly local seafood, Presentation and taste is fabulous. Best meal I have had in Italy. Obviously an innovative chef.

The bedroom was drab and dark. The main rooms in the hotel were brighter, more pleasant and cleaner looking. In three weeks of travelling in Puglia, this was the only hotel that didn't have a complimentary bottle of water for guests in the room. Water was available in the fridge of drinks to be paid for. It was a good breakfast, plenty of choice. The staff were pleasant. On the first day of our two day stay our room was not available, we were told there was a plumbing problem. A room had been booked for us at a hotel (San Guiseppi) up the road. On arrival there the receptionist (Michaela) was so helpful by giving us lots of information about Otranto and the surrounding areas. Our room was lovely and clean and bright. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. If we ever returned to Otranto we would definitely stay in Hotel San Guiseppi by first choice!!

We enjoyed our stay here. Hotel was boutique style with an antique maritime theme in all areas. We were given a disabled room which was very dark and depressing however we spoke to the manager who thankfully organised for us to be moved with minimum disruption the following day. The second room was much better. Rooms and all public areas were immaculate. Our room was always beautifully cleaned each day and bed linen changed frequently. The use of the safe was free and there were beach towels available at reception too. Breakfast was varied with a good selection of breads, cakes , fruits, yoghurts, cheeses and cold meats. My husband didn’t like the coffee but I enjoyed the vast selection of teas. ALL staff were amazing. Very charming, helpful and professional. A special thanks to Michael for organising transport to the airport for us.
