Detailed Reviews
We just returned from a 4 night stay at Al Console. The hotel is small and intimate. Great location- very active night life- and a very generous breakfast was included with our rate. Accommodations are very clean and modern. What made the stay special was the customer service we received. Everyone was helpful and accommodating. Especially Beatrice. She was a gem from the beginning, answering all my questions on Whatsapp even prior to our arrival. She assisted us with dinner reservations, even walked us to our restaurant the last night of our stay and watched a little dog that was travelling with us. Thank you Beatrice and staff for making our stay so special. We miss you already! Until next time....

The location is clean and taken care of in the smallest detail, the terrace with the jacuzzi harbour view leaves you breathless. Thank you to Beatrice for welcomed us with kindness and professionalism. I highly recommend having lunch or dining at the restaurant in front of the suite, "La locanda del pescatore", it's really delicious!

+1
I have to say, I was blown away with the whole stay, the views were amazing, roof top romantic, cold jacuzzi needed in 30+ heat!
The staff (even with a language barrier at times) were lovely and helpful. They provided room service and roof service when ever you needed it.
The token for breakfast was probably the downside, would have been awesome to have breakfast on the rooftop at the hotel while enjoying the views.
The street noises were not an issue and we were there during a very busy time.
The glass door to the bathroom, broke the mystery that as a honeymooning couple was still slightly there haha.. but never the less amusing.
We were in room 103 the rain headed marble shower next to the bed, and we were very impressed and it had all the LED lights.
The room does need places to dry swims suits etc, which we ended up taking things up to the roof.
Small beach is about a 7 min walk away, sea is lovely but it’s crowded!

-really comfortable bed and not as much street noise comes through the windows as I thought there’d be—good soundproofing
-The place they give you a coupon for breakfast has horrible service and wouldn't serve me before 9a even though they were open.
-I hate complaining about this but it’s really not ideal that the staff only speak Italian - no English at all . The man who checked me in kept speaking to me rapidly in Italian even though I told him many times I don’t speak it. It would just be nice to be able to ask them for local advice etc - or pretty much anything. I was able to ask a couple questions over WhatsApp
-I stayed in the king seaview suite - very nice and spacious - but fyi, the water view is only in the room foyer and the bathroom. The bedroom window is directly across from another building/on the street
-Rooftop is very nice but it’s kind of odd that the jacuzzi is freezing cold. It’d be so nice if it was a hot tub (it has jets etc), at least in the non-summer season
-Overall it’s a very nice place but if I returned to monopoli I’d stay somewhere less expensive, on a quieter side street, and with breakfast in house.

Can't say enough amazing things about the staff here. Truly 5 star service. Though there is a bit of a language barrier at times, they are always at your service, literally always on WhatsApp, and willing to work with you to make every part of your stay amazing. Couldn't have asked for more. The rooms are true suites - well appointed and spacious, with lots of amenities. Amenities and offerings in the rooms are replenished generously daily. The shower is amazing - 5 different nozzle/stream types to choose from! Breakfast is a voucher to use at the cafe next door - nothing special (no knock on Al Console). Note - there is no elevator, so you will need to bring your luggage up a flight of stairs. The hotel is super helpful with where free parking is (about 10min walk away).
The one and only downside is the noise. The hotel is really conveniently located on a main street in Monopoli - which also means it's hip and happening until 3am. The music from a nearby restaurant downstairs is loud..and goes until 2-3am. I slept with ear plugs every night but it was still an issue. Note for any light sleepers!

The b&b was great as it all felt new. The rooms were recently renovated and were very modern. The rooftop has a jacuzzi and has a nice view of the port. Anna was very hospitable and helped us with reservations for restaurants nearby and setting up tee time for my boyfriend so he could golf. Complimentary breakfast is very close by (a minute walk). Definitely recommend.

This 3-room b&b is in the heart of the old town and 5 star in every way. The whole place is beautifully designed and the beds are the softest and most comfortable I’ve ever slept on in Italy. The rooftop is an added bonus with a small hot tub/pool, 3 lounge chairs and space for having drinks. Anna was so welcoming and helped us with our every need, from booking us chairs at a beach club, to arranging a hotel driver to take us to the beach and to Alberobello for the afternoon. Will definitely recommend to our family and friends.

We just visited Monopoli and had an issue with our AirBNB and needed a hotel. This three room suite offering was perfect. The rooms were large and well suited w high end furnishing and the service was 5star. Book w Anna, she and her team will manage your visit. The location is perfect, on the harbor, close to everything, roof top deck, chairs and small pool.

What an amazing place to stay. We stayed in room 101 with Sea views from bathroom and sofa area. We didn’t hear any noise I The 4 nights we stayed but the hotel kindly provide ear plugs (we didn’t need them). The bed was very comfortable and aircon was great. The Rooftop is lovely and the Location couldn’t be better
The only thing to note if you have limited mobility is that there is no lift. Also if you are after privacy in the bathroom just to note that one of the rooms (without sea view) have see through glass on the bathroom. Both Nino and Beatrice were lovely and super helpful. We had a fabulous stay and would return again.
