What a wonderful place. Jennifer is a great host. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. The location is great for basing yourself for a midlands trip with easy access to various parts of the area. I would highly recommend Glen Ormond.

Two friends and a 7year old went on an adventure and found a wonderful place to rest our heads at night. Small attention to details is what made it extra special: lovely warm gowns roasted coffee and coffee pods proper wine glasses lovely fireplace spacious veranda beautify views and open spaces to run around breath taking sunset views The location was very central with easy access for even low range cars. \ Wil absolutely recommend to family an friends

I absolutely loved my stay here. The views are magnificent and it was such a peaceful place for a much needed getaway. Jennifer is an amazing host - very considerate, friendly and accommodative. Everything in the cottages is well thought out especially for those cold winter nights - electric blanket, towel warmer, fire place, heater, braai, coffee station etc. The staff is also friendly. My stay here was perfect!

A most wonderful place to stay in Rosetta when coming up for a Midlands Meander. Jennifer is the perfect hostess. The cottage is very well appointed, with comfy beds fitted with electric blankets. The fire place in the lounge is a winner and there is even a back-up gas heater. The views are great and we will definitely be back again.

Must be one of the best overnight accommodations in the country. If you consider value for money, cleanliness, size of shower, water pressure, spaciousness, beautifil surroundings, small attentions to detail and professionalism of the host. Not often a place ticks all the right boxes.

This is one of the best appointed guesthouses we have stayed at. Jenni is also so helpful and we thoroughly enjoy our stay at Glen Ormond. Couldn't ask for anything more. The only downside was the DSTV options as we are very spoilt at home having the premium package. But it didn't impact our stay at all.

In today's day and age, it is very seldom that my expectations are met, let alone blown out the ballpark ! Where to start... It is always so much nicer when the owner is hands on and Jennifer is all that and more. The location is just perfect in that you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere but in reality, only a few minutes away from nearby towns. The cottage was phenomenal - enormous and tastefully (recently) decorated with a dining area, full kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom. Now lets talk about breakfast ! My partner is vegetation and gluten free so usually has to take her own food or hope to get some fruit, yoghurt and maybe grilled tomatoes. Jennifer whipped up a vegetarian delight on home made gluten free bread whilst I had (perfectly) poached eggs on a bed of Moroccan lamb mince. Between us we agreed that this was the best breakfast we've been served not only at an overnight but restaurants included ! It is an enormous property but I challenge anyone to find even one blade of grass out of place - that's how meticulously Glen Ormond is run, with passion, heart and soul ! If we were close, we would visit once a month for the weekend. WE WILL BE BACK !!!…

The whole ambiance of Glen Ormond is fabulous! The magificent gardens are just the beginning.....the accommodation cannot be faulted and the furnishings are superb. Of course with the views, it all adds up to total tranquility. Thank you Jennifer for your assistance and choice of accommodation for a wheelchair, it suited perfectly!
