Resort is located at the peninsula a bit further south from Porto de Galinhas. The resort offers bed and breakfast but can also take all-inclusive guests. Resort is gorgeous in setup and well maintained. The animals on site just give appropriate feeling. Recommend taking at least half-board as there is no restaurant in the area that can top the buffet and a la cart of the resort. Good value for money! Beaches are nice and lots of things to do. Good entertainment especially for kids up to 10 years of age. …
If you’re in a hotel in Sorrento Italy & going to rent a car just be careful. Parking fees in the town are a minimum of €15 a day - usually hotel garage rates if available which is cheap. More likely €20-30. So if you hire your car for a week and are staying in a hotel you could be paying €100-€200 just for parking. Nobody tells you this. Hiring a car is €80 a week. Parking drives the locals crazy and parking fines are seen as a source of local government revenue. There are parking restrictions everywhere. You think there is free public parking. There is but it’s very limited and cannot be guaranteed. Near the Hilton Sorrento Palace Hotel is free. But a 20mins walk to your hotel. I’m just saying.…
I chose Serrambi resort because of the raving reviews abut it’s private beach and tranquility. I was not disappointed at ALL. The resort is located some 20 minutes away from the bustling Porto de Galinhas center and equipped with all the amenities one would need to be comfortable (beautiful layout, good food, attentive staff, leisure activities, massages, game room, etc). Getting a transportation service was a bit more expensive (I went through Luck Travel Services and paid 188 Reais in total) but so so worth it. The hotel has a large pool area, beach chairs and elevated beach/table pool areas with a basic menu for drinks and other foods. Around the resort there are beautiful parrots and at nighttime there’s always family friendly entertainment after an amazingly diverse dinner buffet. The downsides to the hotel are that they are oddly strict with rules- no outside beverages or food as well as don’t actually offer more than the bare minimum in rooms (just shampoo, conditioner and soap- a small toothpaste, shower cap and lotion would really make all the difference). Because it is so isolated, the tab can add up quick. Beverages are only included at breakfast and there isn’t any water in the gym so I found myself spending a lot more on water than intended. However, the staff was wonderful and went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant and meet my odd requests of banana peels to relieve mosquito bite irritation. One tip for future guests- check out the tourism agency in the back of the hotel near the gym. The beaches are a lot smoother and prices significantly lower than the desk at the front. I did scuba diving and wind surfing and had lots of individualized attention with the instructors. I hope to be back! I had an awesome time!…
astonishing view. this hotel is in a priviledged location and gets the benefit of having 2 beaches at the doorstep. the natural pools in the morning are incredible. super child friendly. we traveled with our son when he was <1y old and it was a blast. Downside: they are picky with food/beverage consumption outside of the restaurants. so everytime we wanted to get a fruit as snack for the baby we had to pay extra. that kind of sucked.…
Good quality of infrastructure is not a something that you find easily in the area. This hotel was a fantastic surprise. All rooms have a sea view. I got a cheaper room, and it was out of the way. I had to walk longer to get there, but it suited me to a t, as it was out of the possible noise from the pool and restaurant. The pool is wonderful. The sea in the area is amazing, with the natural pools created by the reefs. I was able to feed the fish in the sea, just near the shore. I was surrounded by lovely little fish eating bread off my hand. A fantastic experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing. Dinner is not all that special, but very good. All in all, thank you. My husband and I had a great time. We'll definitely go back!…
