I had read some bad reviews of La Creole so I expected issues but our experience with the hotel was excellent. We stayed in a 2nd fl sea view room in the Corail building by the Zawag restaurant. The room had a comfortable king sized bed, nice view of the beach and lagoon, and

Overall my stay with the hotel was good, the staffs speak English (where most of the people in Guadeloupe don’t) and helpful. I do echo what other travelers are suggesting that the hotel is overpriced and the beach is small but there are activities like a mini carnival at the

Very nice place to stay having it’s own beach, smart rooms and idyllic location. Pricing for rooms is ok and service good BUT take a bottle of your own spirits or some beers from the supermarket. Two rhum and cokes will set you back 16 to 18 euros when you can a whole bottle in

This is a genuine 'bait and switch' hotel. The photos are incredibly misleading. The beach is crowded and dirty and tiny. Now go look at the photos, and you will see what I mean. We are experienced travelers, and we took a good look around as we were preparing to register....and

Dear John M, We accept your opinion that the Creole Beach Hotel & Spa is a large property with many customers during French and European vacations but we don't accept your appreciation as a "duplicitous dump"; We hope that you find a more suitable hotel to let you discover our beautiful Guadeloupe Islands Warm regards

My husband and I stayed here for four nights, traveling from the United States. I speak some French but I think we could have gotten by without it. Gorgeous property, tasty breakfast, the dinner at Epices is a bit overpriced but convenient. We had not heard too much about

Rooms with kitchen ?
Yes the suites have a full kitchen. Other rooms have a small kitchen area on the balcony although I don’t know what this consists of.

Creole Beach is in Le Gosier on the island of Grand Terre in Guadeloupe. Fort Delgres is on the island of Basse Terre. It’s about an hour’s Drive, perhaps a little more. Rent a car or take a tour. We liked Basse Terre a lot — mountainous, rainforest, pretty beaches in the north. Not as commercial or as much traffic as Grand Terre.

We stayed in the Terrace rooms which are located on the ground floor, they are lovely. The bathrooms are very European, meaning entirely open, the shower heads can be moved to different levels so you should not have any trouble. The meals served in the restaurant are wonderful, we ate the buffet every evening, it cost 75 Euro for two, there are a couple of places across from the hotel that serve different things such as pizza and so on. I only drink bottle water period. I do hope one of you speak French as not many people speak English, my wife's native tongue is French so it saved us a lot of trouble. Hope this helps.
