We stayed here for 1 night when we started our mini moon. Lovely touch by the staff we had a wedding card in our room waiting for us. Our room was clean and the bed was super comfy. Shower was also really good. We didn't dare sit on the dressing table chair as it looked a bit worse for ware. We had booked our stay through my hotel breaks so had dinner and breakfast included. Our evening meal was delicious and our breakfast was very nice also. But no loran sausage. The staff were also really nice. Will definitely stay again.

Having just spent two nights in Tulloch Castle I can honestly say we enjoyed our stay. The staff are amazing from checking in to checking out, friendly chatty and nothing is too much trouble to them. A great credit to the hotel. The food was really good and tasty. I agree that the interior is a little tired but it would be difficult to improve without losing the identity. Our room (2) was spacious very clean and the bathroom large and light. The bed although big was a little uncomfortable for us as the mattress was firm. New fluffy pillows would be an advantage. We found the room key fob hilarious! My husband referred to it as a railway sleeper with a key. You could never leave and accidentally take key which is the aim!

I paid £175 for one night plus about £50 for dinner and drinks. The smoked salmon salad, the lamb with broad beans and goats cheese, and the lemon posset were all really excellent. The service was also good. However, this is a hotel that is in need of modernisation. I had a lovey big room, and the bathroom has been recently redone, but the hotel feels tired. A coat of paint would go a long way. It's also a bit of a warren. The convoluted staircases and corridors obviously can't be addressed inexpensively, but if Bespoke Hotels are planning to continue to extract £225 per night for a solo visit then they will need to invest. The internet connectivity was great (25 down, 15 up) but it did seem to drop quite often.

Really looked forward to our night in a castle but it didn’t quite hit the spot. There are really varied reviews so think it’s down to individual experience. The food was superb, the staff helpful and friendly. Just thought the bar and dining room weren’t very welcoming and the rooms a bit tired and in need of a little more attention to detail.
