Highly recommended hotel. Spacious room. Daily room service and varied breakfast with quality products. The hotel is in a quiet area and close to the beach. You can walk to the center and port of the town (approximately 15 minutes). The restaurant is worth trying; of ten.

Hotel perfectly located, a stone's throw from the beach and the city center. Easy free parking in front of the property. Friendly welcome in French. Room with simple decoration, quite spacious, good bedding, very quiet and yet very efficient air conditioning, plenty of space in the small refrigerator, everything is perfectly clean. The breakfast is delicious. Very good price/performance ratio.

It is a charming hotel. Very familiar. A wonder in the area. Service a 10 atmosphere, 10 food, 10 price quality 10 out of 10. Very quiet area. Good parking. Only one "but" if you are in a front room, the neon lights of the pharmacy in front will bother you all night. Otherwise everything very well.

Family hotel with few rooms, well located at the exit of the town and near the sea.
In our case, they gave us a VERY small and narrow double room, with details that made it uncomfortable. Bathroom without hangers, views of the inconspicuous interior area, minibar under the table (if you want to work you have to move it), 1.50 bed...
Also, it is not a silent hotel. You hear the owners who live on the third floor and, if you get a room next to the elevator, you hear the doors opening and closing at all hours.
The breakfast could very well be improved... bottled juice, little variety of sweets (the first day he "played" a donut and the second a mini-chocolate croissant), 1 roll and tomatoes for the sausage, boiled eggs, and little else.
I had very good memories of this hotel from years ago and, although the price is correct, it has gotten worse in every way and it is not worth it.

We Visited the beautifu town of San Carles De La Rapita as my parents have moved their boat the the gorgeous new marina in the town.
We chose this hotel as The Miami Mar wasn't in our price range, The Del Port was full and my parents had been let down by some of the cheap apartments in the town.
We were absolutely delighted with our room. Clean, Modern and with air-con & heating, a huge designer bathroom with a temerature controlled bath and quite possibly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in with a crisp white duvet instead of scratchy sheets & blankets. However, there was only a small window that looked out on to a block of flats, a yard and a supermarket Car Park. There was no fridge and no tea and coffee making facilities. When we checked in we had never been to the town before and were given no information, or maps or even offered a drink. The hotel has no bar but bizarrely a restaurant attatched to it so I was really surprised that as a small family business they were missing a trick here! It was the middle of the afternoon when we arrived and all the surrounding bars and restaurants were shut too. This may be a problem for some but not for us. We just went straight out to explore the town. I was still surprised by the hotel's lack of enthusiasm. I speak reasonably good Spanish and they didn't seem to want to converse with me. You may come across this quite a lot in the town. This is the heart of Cataluna and the locals are Catalan and not Spanish.
I do give the hotel many brownie points for their fantastic breakfasts. Given that they probably have only a handfull of rooms the choice was amazing given that it was only continental style. They had cereals, meats and cheese, (Local Manchego chese and serano ham) fresh bread, cakes and pastries and also fresh fruit and desserts like Rice Pudding and Creme Catalan which was surprising but very nice! If you say Bon Dia, instead of Buenos dias you may get yourself an extra coffee!
There was a plasma TV in our room but only with local chanels. Not a problem for us as we are both very keen to improve our Spanish. We had no issues with the room but we had another problem with the staff on the last night they kept us waiting for a long time to pay the bill and took my card away from me which I am always weary of. The next morning we left early and I was asked to settle the bill again. Also we had told the reception the night before that we were leaving early (6:55 AM) but there was nobody around at first and then they turned up 5 minutes before we were due to leave to ask us to pay again and then after I had produced the reciepts etc did they apologise and offer us a coffee but it was too late.
I absolutely fell in love with the town though. We were worried we'd feel stuck without a car but it didn't bother us, we didn't want to leave anyway! I have lived in Spain and I have travelled around to various cities, most of the costas and to some of the inland towns and villages and I am still passionate about the Country. San Carles is how Spain should be. It's where you still see families dressing up just to go for a walk along the beach, & musicians playing in the town square and locals folk dancing without having anything in particular to celebrate. And we didn't even see the euro rate as a problem. In one of the trendy bars on the new marina I paid 5E for 4 coffees! and a meal for 4 in a pizzaria in the town cost 30E in total.
The Ebro Delta is beautiful, you are easy driving distance from Barcelona and Valencia that you can combine with your trip as we did and you can also get to Reus easily and the Taragona area. The beach, marina and shops bars and restaurants in San Carles will provide you with more than enough entertainment though. I feel like I should stop shouting about it a bit as I came back thinking I had discovered a secret hidden gem!

This hotel doesn't look too much from the outside but don't be put off as it is excellent value for money. Our room was clean, spacious and quiet with a comfortable bed and there was free wifi in the room. The receptionists were friendly and had a little English. There is plenty of parking outside but you can also pay for secure garage parking which was excellent. Unfortunately, we were staying over on a Sunday and the restaurant, which has a very good reputation, is closed Sunday evenings but it is an easy walk down to the seafront and to the town centre where there are several restaurants. Can recommend this hotel if staying near the Ebro Delta.

My room reservation system on Thu Nov 19 claimed that there are no rooms available, but as I had decided to test this hotel, I called them.
Very friendly welcome at a hotel that was practically closed because of COVID-19.
I do admit that the automated check-in was too easy for me and I needed assistance, but as I have reserved a right to learn, next time I will know how it works.
The room provided me with a perfecr view: my car parked in front of the hotel.
They even offered a breakfast to me in the morning.
I was positively surprised by this hotel and will definetely visit them again.

I was able to visit to assess the rooms before my stay and from that point onward I was impressed with the facilities and excellent service. Welcoming, helpful, flexible and efficient. English was spoken which was very helpful. Also impressed with the restaurant, excellent Catalan food and attentive service without being intrusive.
Thank you Can Batiste.

This was our second stay at Can Batiste and we'd happily return. It is comfortable, clean, quiet and well located, with street car parking outside. The spacious room was well equipped and there was a good variety for breakfast. Staff are friendly and efficient. Although we did not eat in it, the restaurant was very busy.

I do not know! Best to contact the restaurant direct. But many parts of Spain offer lunchtime meals only on New Year's Eve and then close from 1600. New Year's Eve is a family at home celebration for many. They then go out at midnight to celebrate in the streets.
Lo sentmos mucho pero no aceptamos mascotas!
Buenas tardes.
