Arriving and being at the Srilankan is being at an oasis of serene luxury. A courteous welcome and greeting received by us was second to none. Our sea-facing big duplex room was very clean with wooden floor & decor offered a heavenly view. Housekeeping was prompt and efficient and to our surprise, had an urgent fix for every issue. Breakfasts were well spreaded, sumptuous meeting with needs of all taste buds while Dinners were great too. A well laid out property,easy access to the beach and interesting 😎 areas nearby. The nestling swimming pool surrounded by a well maintained garden left us an unforgettable memory. The secret?... the smiling vibrant Manager,Mr.Thushara is the Punch way above our expectations. Hey! Overall the unique property is already in the league of this great island Srilankan fantasy that is bound to go from here with it's inventiveness, developing into heritage with it's reputation maturing into legend. Hat's off SANMIRA...Hat's off THUSHARA.

We had to stay in sr lanka due to the curfew regarding the Corona virsus . The hotel and staff were amazing , they looked after all of our needs and went out of their way to sort out our travel issues . I would certainly recommend this hotel for yr visit to Sri Lanka , set 5 mins from the main beach , there is a smalll beach opposite with beautiful clear water , we saw turtles everyday , great pool with plenty of wildlife on show , the monkeys make a appearance every afternoon .....Big clean rooms and a great restaurant offering local and western cuisine .Big thanks to Robin on the front desk on looking after my wife with her WiFi issues , hope to see all the staff still here when we return for the rescheduled Sri lank v England cricket test

We want to say thank you to all staff of SANMIRA Rennaissance hotel for great vacation, wounderfull service and kindness of all staff in this Hotel. Moreover, the Hotel has a great location. It is not far from nice beach (Unawatuna) for swimming and the same time you get pure jungle nature with wounderfull View. Also, in front of the Hotel you get beach with turtles. We could dive with mask and observe turtles in their enviroment. That Was breathtaking. Most of all, we want to thank Priyantha Panangala (Resident Manager). He is very attentive and kind to his Hotel guests.

I stayed for 1 week, the hotel and rooms and very clean and all ammenities are available in the spacious rooms. The service from staff was excellent, very polite and always willing to help. The food is of a good standard and they catered for any request without complaint. I will certainly stay here again.

The worst hotel manager i have seen.he is not evevn apeaks to guests for service issues or may be he doesnt apeaks english. I wanted to speak to the manager so i stayed there about half an hour seems he doesnt want to speak with guests l Just went there to spend the day with my family i was very disapointed the way they treated us and so i was decided to walk away. Reception area not cleaned glasses are coverd with dust For me the security guy is more friendly than the manager

We went on vacation with the whole family. And we really liked the hotel! Very good service! Staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. The room was quite clean. Cleaning upon request. Great pool, but there is a small drawback - the tiles are old and chipped in some places. My kids scratched all over their feet. Breakfast is monotonous, but tasty. All questions and wishes were fulfilled. Very much recommend.

We had one night here, it was enough. The rooms are large but the whole place needs a good update. The pool is nice and breakfast is good but the rooms feel they have been neglected. The bathrooms have these strange doors which trap dirt in the runners which makes it feel unclean, the bedside lamps hadn't been dusted in months and the windows were so grubby it was hard to see out of them. There are many better places in Unawatuna to stay

Staff very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. Our room was spacious and clean. TV in rooms. Good wifi connections throughout the hotel and poolside. Food at the hotel was not great but there are plenty of restaurants near by to visit.

Thanks for every stuff in this hotel. It was such a relive when they changed our room and made it for 3 person. The other thing I really enjoyed were breakfasts. A lot of tasty things there to choose. You will miss a lot of you won’t stop there and try it yourself -Maria( Moscow, Russia)

The staff was really friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Rooms were clean and spacious. Pool is big and clean. Wish they had maintained the pool beds and surrounding too. We had a good time for the price we payed.
