At Molino Del Carmen, guests are accommodated with the exquisite hospitality that has long been the custom in this part of Spain. Six chic self-catering apartments, most with uninterrupted views down to the Mediterranean Sea, Gibraltar and the Rif mountains of North Africa, offer cool, classic surroundings. Tastefully finished to reflect the Moorish roots of the region, all rooms are designed to afford the Mill's guests privacy, comfort, and a haven of tranquillity in this authentic Spanish town. Linked by arched doorways, shady corridors, sun-drenched view terraces and leafy patios, Molino Del Carmen's luxury suites provide perfect accommodation for today's sophisticated travellers. Facilities at the Molino include the Pool Terrace, complete with loungers for soaking up the sun and a Rainforest Shower, plus a Library fitted in the Moorish tradition for avid readers to curl up comfortably with a book, and a laundry for the use of guests. Linen is provided - thick and thirsty white towels and luxury Egyptian cotton sheets are standard features. All kitchens are completely equipped with all cutlery, crockery, glassware and full cooking facilities.

This is our third visit here in as many years and we still love the breath-taking views particularly from Don Jose apartment. Molino, Gaucin, is the perfect getaway from it all place to go to relax and unwind in beautfully decorated apartments, surrounded by stunning views of the village, castle, and Rif mountains. There is everything you might need in the apartments; very comfortable beds/pillows and a lovely pool to cool off in after some time in the Spanish sunshine! The owner, Pip, and Josefina at Molino, are so helpful - nothing is too much trouble for them. There are lots of lovely restaurants and bars within walking distance where there is always a warm welcome for visitors whether you want just a quick snack or fine dining... they have it all! PERFECT!

Stunning house (we stayed in Casa Abanico) in stunning location. Gaucin is just the perfect location - close both to Ronda and the beaches of the south coast - yet feels worlds away from both. It is a gorgeous town, with plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes, very friendly locals. We took some day trips away but would have been equally happy just to stick around Gaucin. Recommend the climb up the mountain for amazing views. Molino del Carmen is a fabulous set of apartments, around a shared pool. The views from the top of Casa Abanico are extraordinary and we practically lived on the upper floor, making full use of the barbecue. Facilities are excellent - we lacked nothing! But also the decor, the character of each room, the spaciousness, the variety meant that it was a pleasure to sit in any of the rooms and enjoy relaxing in a bit of luxury. Pip and Josefi answered any questions we had and information/recommendations for places to go/eat are helpful. Both our teenage kids thought it was the best holiday they’d had.

Another fantastic stay (this is now our third visit) - the Molino is just as lovely as last year - such a lovely relaxing holiday in a fab house (Casa Abanico) with such beautiful furnishings and designs and so well equipped. Big thanks to Josefi for making us feel so welcome and really lovely to meet Pip - what a wonderful place - thanks all Mairi David Hollie and Lucas

We held a wonderful team offsite and client event for the week at Molino del Carmen. The owner was extremely responsive and helped us sort what we needed to make the offsite a success (eg, accepting delivery of flipchart in advance, arranging midweek clean when the clients joined, and arranging catered breakfasts for us). The property itself is fantastic, lovely décor, pool and amazing views. We did our offsite on the terrace in the shade while looking at Gibraltar! Very good restaurants are walking distance.

We had an enjoyable 4 nights stay within this uniquely designed apartment. Everything is well thought through with the guest in mind and the visitors handbook is informatley packed for the sights, bars and restaurants making it easy to negotiate your way around the town effortlessly. The apartment has excellent wifi and is immaculately clean comfortable. Thank you, Josefi for ensuring everything was to our satisfactory during our stay at Escamillio's.
