We were there in mid-May from Friday noon to Sunday noon and really enjoyed our stay! Perfect location right on the lake and within walking distance of the old town and the surrounding area. Rooms relatively modern, functional and quiet, the whole atmosphere very pleasant. Staff friendly, but not always up to speed with language.
The food is very good - lots of regional food, especially the bread variety is worth mentioning. It was also nice that the portions on the buffet were not excessively large, so not too much had to be thrown away. Drinks included at breakfast and good, unfortunately not in the evening, but prices are still reasonable.
The thermal baths and the SPA are beautiful facilities; you can relax there in various saunas and steam baths, ice grotto, graduation tower. Extensive opening times mean that the landscapes never seem too crowded. There is also a library and fireplace room. We didn't use the fitness area. The only thing I could do without was noisy and romping toddlers in the pools. The same goes for food.
It would also be worth considering why you should pay 20 EUR per day for a parking space!?! The prices should include something like that, otherwise it quickly smells like a rip-off. In the old town you can park for free (within walking distance) from 6pm Friday onwards on weekends.
We'll be happy to come back!

As always, we really enjoyed it. However, we were surprised by the suggestion that we could forego daily room cleaning and instead plant a tree. We are happy to forgo changing towels every day, but I would like the beds to be made and dirty dishes to be cleared away and the coffee/tea selection to be replenished and clean cups to be provided. That is what we expect from a hotel in this price range. We would also like a better patisserie. The selection of pastries/cakes to accompany coffee and the dessert buffet in the evening could be improved.
Praise goes to the service staff in the restaurant, who remained calm and friendly and did their best despite the large number of guests (especially on Friday and Saturday).
We will always be happy to spend our holidays with you, whether short or long!

The hotel and the thermal baths are in very good condition and everything is very clean and works. The breakfast and the atmosphere in the thermal baths exceeded our expectations.
The room is more of a 1990s standard, but here too everything works and it is very clean. But it has nothing to do with comfort and/or luxury.
Unfortunately there was no guide to show you what is where in the hotel and when something interesting is happening. As a result, we almost missed the big fireworks display in the evening right in front of the hotel. And you certainly don't use everything on offer.
The reception is understaffed compared to the restaurant and there are always waiting times. But the staff do everything right and are friendly and take their time.
The biggest negative point in our opinion is the price. If you include parking, a piece of cake in the thermal baths and a simple evening meal, the price is around 500 euros per night for a simple room. For a stay from Friday to Sunday that would be 1000 euros. In our opinion, there is a lack of some kind of luxury or something special. If the rooms were modern and better equipped, it would greatly improve the picture.

We did not feel appreciated and comfortable as customers. Service mixed; restaurant deficient. Fish and meat was dry; too little choice for vegetarians; side dishes partly not served by (unfinished potatoes) and reaction by the kitchen too slow. Negatively, it was also noticeable that drinks were included at breakfast, with the significantly worse dinner these were charged additionally. This should have been made transparent beforehand.
Room seemed run-down; old furnishings and technology, numerous water stains on the furniture. Unfortunately only the choice between air conditioning or mosquitoes during the night as no insect screen installed on the windows. Rooms to the restaurant were still quite noisy until late at night, even after 10 p.m. Plastic bowls for the dog looked cheap and worn, here you should have chosen metal bowls. Shower otherwise very nice, on the cosmetic products provided were great.
The service at the hotel was mixed, partly very friendly and partly very disappointing. My friend had requested a massage appointment at the spa, this was also entered in the system (allegedly binding) after explicit indication that the appointment had to be agreed with me first. My friend was told to confirm the appointment by phone. He did not do so and thus assumed that the appointment did not happen. The colleague at the spa had tried several times (unsuccessfully) to call my friend's room and phone to confirm the appointment. In the end, the colleague wanted to calculate the appointment 100% on the grounds that the appointment was not cancelled. I think it is simply a misunderstanding of both parties that should have been resolved in a welcoming manner. My friend had to contact the reception, who wanted to charge 50% after a long discussion. Unfortunately, as part of this, the statement was made that the colleague at the spa was not lying after all, which mE suggests my friend would be lying. After the dinner was more than disappointing, we decided to end our stay early and left early. We did not feel appreciated and welcomed as guests. Actually, it should be a special event on the occasion of a birthday, which is now connoted with negative memories of the stay.

I don't believe I've ever seen a spa like this. Sitting atop a thermal spring, they have heated indoor and outdoor pools that don't actually require heat. Saunas of every type, salt water pools, a room dedicated to breathing the natural salt, along with the largest exercise facility I've seen. With restaurants both in the resort and nearby in former East town of Neuruppin, this is an amazing resort. Be advised that many non-pool areas are in a "textile free zone," meaning no clothes allowed.

A really good, modern and very clean hotel paired with a spa that promises pure relaxation - what more could the recreational seeker want?!!
A great added value is the very friendly, always attentive staff. Of particular note are also the breakfast and dinner buffet, which were very good and rich and had delicious things ready for every diet type.
The thermal bath, which is accessible through a bathrobe corridor, crowns the stay. Especially here the large lake sauna (supposedly Germany’s largest), which after sweating allows direct cooling while swimming in Lake Ruppin. Just wonderful.
We were completely satisfied with our stay and would love to come back.

On arrival there was already a discussion about the parking costs, which were included in my arrangement. All guests were offered a glass of champagne on arrival, but we were not. The beds were too hard and the mattresses slipped with every movement. The evening meal was a disaster. We had booked 3 nights and left after 2. When we checked out I was neither asked why we were leaving early nor whether I enjoyed the stay, let alone were any costs waived. The room itself was very large, the bathroom very thinly soundproof. The bed was hard and the mattresses kept slipping apart. After one night we were brought a topper for each bed, which was better but we would have liked a topper for both mattresses so that they didn't slip apart anymore. The staff in the restaurant and bar were very friendly and helpful, but the reception staff were unfortunately not. for me everything was top, only my wife was a bit dissatisfied with the premises of the massage - very sterile not nicely decorated. An air sterilizer must have been buzzing all the time and the music was, according to her, in the direction of electro rather than relaxation music. Of all those who had booked an application on that day, the registrations were freely available for all to see.

A little break at the lake, highly recommended, basically everything we needed was there. No tip, there is no blind on the "window" in the bathroom so that your partner doesn't wake up at night when the light is turned on there.
The view is perfect, right on the water, so a view of the lake. The extra charge is worth paying.

Usually staff members are very friendly and caring but too fast they let you know when they're stressed and overwhelmed. Especially the front desk shift.
SPA staff is excellent. Massages are awesome. I really can recommend the fusion massage treatment.
Overall cleanliness in good but as a former employee at a luxury class hotel & SPA I would love to see some improvements. Getting rid of the spiders in room corners and the cobs in doorways isn't that hard, and makes such an impact especially in the on suite bathroom. No one wants to know what colour the previous guest's hair was.
The breakfast buffet is awesome. The dinner's buffets - table serving only up until 80 guests - are sometimes a little bit much. Do there have to be 5 main dishes every night? Do less and make those really good.
