We've stayed here before. The standard is high and the view is beautiful. Highly recommended .Weather good, facilities good, Only problem, which we had last time is we couldn't work the TV and there were no instructions and we looked in the booklet.
Brenton Breakers Unit 1 is a neat and comfortable unit but parking for the unit is very difficult to get in and out with a larger vehicle. There is also a lot of thorny bushes next to the parking as well as the driveway it is over grown and difficult to drive threw without scratching your vehicle. Even though the the Units have a beautiful view on the sea we did not feel safe, a pathway leads directly in front of unit one down to the sea and houses on the other side, people where up and down all the time passing in front of our unit. My hand myself could not sit on the veranda even during the day we were to afraid. My Husband joined us over the weekend and we had to pay R1440 extra for him using the same unit and same beds. No safety around the front leading on to the cliff…
We had a great vacation at Brenton Breakers with the family. the unit was clean and well kept arrival and departure arrangement worked just fine. Utensils in the kitchen is very limited. The kitchen could do with a few sharp knives. Cleaning services is only available on working days, but there is a dish washer which helps a lot. Value for money? I'm of opinion that the high season rate is too high in comparison to what is available in the market (just my opinion). Nevertheless, we had a great stay
We couldn't have chosen a better location for our first post-lockdown getaway! Accommodation was clean, comfortable with breathtaking ocean views. Naturel-overs would love scenic cliffside Fisherman's Walk. Highly recommended if a relaxing stay, stone's throw from local attractions of Knysna & surrounds is what you desire,. Would return in a heartbeat!
Just spent a few days at Brenton Breakers in Brenton-on Sea. What a fantastic place! The accommodation was spotlessly clean, the staff were charming, and the views from our patio were breathtaking. Very depressed to get back to Joburg afterwards.
