We had a great vacation at Brenton Breakers with the family. the unit was clean and well kept arrival and departure arrangement worked just fine. Utensils in the kitchen is very limited. The kitchen could do with a few sharp knives. Cleaning services is only available on working days, but there is a dish washer which helps a lot. Value for money? I'm of opinion that the high season rate is too high in comparison to what is available in the market (just my opinion). Nevertheless, we had a great stay

The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The service was adequate. The position is amazing with the most spectacular views over the sea. The sunsets are beautiful. Close to all the main attractions with direct access to two private beaches that are unspoilt and beautiful.

The villa is clean with all the necessary amenities. 2 bedrooms each with private bathroom can comfortably accommodate 4 adults. Overlooking the ocean with a private path down the cliff to an almost private beach. Both Sunset and sunrise were amazing. You cant go wrong here.

Brenton Breakers Unit 1 is a neat and comfortable unit but parking for the unit is very difficult to get in and out with a larger vehicle. There is also a lot of thorny bushes next to the parking as well as the driveway it is over grown and difficult to drive threw without scratching your vehicle. Even though the the Units have a beautiful view on the sea we did not feel safe, a pathway leads directly in front of unit one down to the sea and houses on the other side, people where up and down all the time passing in front of our unit. My hand myself could not sit on the veranda even during the day we were to afraid. My Husband joined us over the weekend and we had to pay R1440 extra for him using the same unit and same beds. No safety around the front leading on to the cliff very dangerous for families with small children! Security cameras and alarms did not help because it felt like staying in JHB. the unit is very hot during the hot summer days with no air cons and small fans on the ground did not help at all, specially at night when you have to close the bedroom door to put the alarm on. I have actually booked my holiday at Ngwenya lodge near Kruger as soon as I arrived home because I did not relax or feel I was on holiday at Brenton Breakers. We could not walk any place had to drive by car because it is far from shops and town.

Dear Mrs. Geyer Thank you for staying with us and for alerting us to the challenges you faced relating to the driveway bushes with larger vehicles, this has been remedied and we appreciate the feedback! Fisherman's walk is a public easement that runs along the entire coastline of Brenton on Sea. It is a much-loved treasure of residents and visitors alike as it allows one to walk and enjoy the spectacular scenery along the entire coastline of Brenton, where whale and dolphin sightings are frequent and the access affords one the opportunity for an up-close look. As we are located directly on the cliff edge hugging the ocean, it does mean that people are able to pass in front of the chalets and we understand how this can be foreign to those who are not accustomed to it. Regarding our rate structure, our rates are based on a per-person basis. As advertised, you paid for you and your son initially; when your husband joined we only charged you a portion of the full fee for his stay. In the event you return to the area, we would be happy to accommodate you in a different chalet that is further away from the cliffs and pathway.

Great location with beautiful views and stunning sun sets, very well serviced and exceptionally clean rooms - Marisha was very friendly. The mixed feelings we had after our week stay was that we didnt feel like we had a comfortable stay. Load shedding 2 to 3 times a day didn't allow us much to enjoy at the place or in the area. We weren't planning to "rough it out" by hiking in cold, wet conditions. There is no gas stove and / or no fire place to make a warm meal during the cold and wet winter days. No aircons to warm the unit during family time. On 2 seperate days there was also no water which compounded our negative experience. The was a noise on the roof at night when the wind was blowing causing us little sleep and the overgrown hedging on the drive way scratched our vehicle. We could also not use the undercover parking at unit 1 due to the overgrown hedging on the side. One can't park with a bigger vehicle at Unit 1. I would probably visit again but during Autumn or Spring when it is not too cold or too hot.

Good Day Mel, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review and giving us such valuable feedback. We are delighted to see that you have enjoyed the beautiful views and stunning sunsets. Unfortunately, load-shedding has completely been out of our control as we experienced all stages of load shedding, however, we do not advertise that we have a generator. We do have a braai area outside which is suitable for cooking a meal. Our units are not fitted with aircons, however, there are heaters in the units to help with these cold winter days. As for the hedges, we will take it up with management so that they can ensure all hedges are trimmed properly. We apologize for the inconvenience caused, however, we are looking forward to welcoming you in the near future trusting that your experience will be much better.

We couldn't have chosen a better location for our first post-lockdown getaway! Accommodation was clean, comfortable with breathtaking ocean views. Naturel-overs would love scenic cliffside Fisherman's Walk. Highly recommended if a relaxing stay, stone's throw from local attractions of Knysna & surrounds is what you desire,. Would return in a heartbeat!

The view of the Brenton-on-sea from the Brenton Breakers stay was mesmerising. They definitely have the best views of the ocean and also access to a serene and untouched beach down the cliff. It’s easily accessible and is an easy trek for a moderately fit person.

From the moment we arrived, Villa 2 @ Brenton Breakers captivated us with its scenic beauty. The landscapes were truly breath-taking, providing the perfect backdrop for our family adventure.
Our stay at Villa 2 @ Brenton Breakers exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff, service and facilities were top-notch, making us feel welcomed and pampered throughout our stay. The rooms and views were comfortable and provided a relaxing sanctuary after our daily explorations.
The highlight for us was definitely the pathway to the beach… it was breath taking and left us with unforgettable memories.
I highly recommend this destination to anyone seeking a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure.
We will definitely go back 

We stayed in Brenton Breakers in April and found the place exactly what we wanted. Lovely 2 en-suite bedrooms and family room, dining room and kitchen as open living area was roomy and nicely decorated. A superb view over the ocean with the most stunning sunsets you can imagine! Service was also very good! I forgot something in the unit and Chantel couriered it back to me for which I was very grateful! I can really recommend Brenton Breakers!
