It was not our first stay and guaranteed not our last. The hotel, as well as the service are excellent. We especially liked the wide selection of vegetarian and vegan alternatives at breakfast and dinner. A stay definitely pays off.

Maiers is very nice hotel to see at least once. We had a deep purple room on 3rd floor with a beautiful view of the surroundings. The room itself overlooks a sweet garden which has a pool and whirlpool boat. There are many „cuddle“ places to be in peace. Sun comes to the terrace in the afternoon. Room itself is somewhat dark, even with curtains a side..but thats the whole point. The bed was extremely comfortable with great lining. The room and bathroom were extremely clean and i have seen some reports that says some of rooms look bit worn out.. ours was top. Although the hotel is not the newest, i didn’t notice anywhere tired look. The SPA is pretty small, one dry sauna, one steam and some kind of sole- infrared one. That one looks actually very nice. There are lots of „separate „ places to relax. The SPA is nice, but we would not recommend the hotel for that reason only. Breakfast was really really good, everything thats needed, sweet, salty, some fresh veggies. very tasty prosecco included. 5 course dinner was ok, but we would not call it a highlight, there is some improvement space for sure. The staff was very kind and looked after our wishes professionally. So, in the end.. for us it was worth coming to the hotel as we found a deal on the price, otherwise its somewhat overpriced ( dinner, SPA) compared to some other therme hotels that we visited which had better offer considering those points.

Dear Kathryn! Thank you for your feedback and for taking time. We are very pleased, that you've enjoyed your stay. Thank you for your positive praise. We're not a "thermen" hotel For everyone, who wants to have a bigger offer in Spa and wellness, we can recommend the "Therme Loipersdorf", which is just a few minutes away from our house. We are happy to help you with the purchase of tickets and we would also be very happy to welcome you again in our house. Best regards, Your Team from the cuddle hotel

Actually, a very nice hotel-experience overall.
We stayed at the Deluxe Junior Suite and the room was a blast. It had almost everything one could wish for and it does looks as good in real life as advertised on the website.
The bathtub is a joy to spend time in together with the loved one (it is not large, but spacious). There is also bathing salt available in the room.
The beds are just awesome to sleep on... and do all the other stuff people come to do to this particular institution. So definitely +1 here also.
What we did miss in the rooms though, is the following:
— No Adult TV channels
— The Music Station does not work via Bluetooth, so DJing is hard
but apart from this the suite was just perfect in every other aspect.
Now, to the hotel itself. From the outside it is "yet another boris styrian hotel", but inside one feels immediately the amount of attention that went into every little detail throughout the whole house. Everything is new, clean, expensive-looking and nice to the tough. A pleasure to be in any room :)
The SPA facilities are also really good. There were no people in the SPA whenever we came along, but I would still like to point out that it is:
— very well designed
— lots of discrete resting areas for couples
— excellent "heat" quality in the saunas
So another "+" point for the SPA.
The evening menu in the restaurant was good and very tasty. We really enjoyed it on both evenings. Also the service at the restaurant is well beyond all expectations.
The only points where the hotel can improve on are the following:
— Wi-Fi should NOT block adult content in such hotels ;-)
— We found it rather boring at the pool outside and in the evening at the bar, perhaps some sort of music at the pool, and some animation at the bar would have made our stay absolutely perfect. After all it would have been nice to be engaged into some sort of "fun" with other couples at the hotel...
Nonetheless — excellent place to spend a weekend in with your partner!

We have paid a second visit to this hotel recently (please read my first detailed review I have left in May 2016) just to find out that the hotel is not that good after all when visited during summer.
We found it unacceptable to offer rooms at this rate with no Air Conditioning when it is constantly over 35 degrees celsius outside (even in the Penthouse Suite!). Moreover, the "french" balcony must be a joke, as in reality it is a door which opens directly onto the parking lot.
The food got better (really!), dinner was generally very nice and offered a variety of delicious dishes to choose from. Breakfast is still a disaster, yet it is served till 11:30. There is nothing to "nibble" in the hotel during the day, so be prepared with your own fruit and stuff. Also one cannot eat outside (unless one books this specifically), which is a pity, especially in the morning.
Overall the hotel is still boring. Most suites are facing the parking lot. Many are on the ground floor (why place the best rooms in the worst places?).
Altogether the hotel appeared to be really overpriced nowadays when compared to other spas in the area (within 10km).

We had a great weekend at Maiers Kuschelhotel - the food was really amazing - it was very clean and the reception was really nice!
The spa area was also really nice and in the summer the outside area is also great and is definitely a great place to relax with a cocktail!

This time we had Lodge No. 2 - it exceeded our expectations! Functionally furnished, clean, well equipped (own terrace + sauna + outdoor shower etc.), beautiful view, a few steps away from breakfast, dinner and pool.
Top service at breakfast/dinner - very friendly and accommodating. Food was also excellent!
Not the cheapest house, but the price-performance ratio is good!!!
