We stayed at the Ploy Sea a couple of weeks ago for 3 nights. The hotel was fairly quiet and so they very kindly upgraded our room to a sea view. Staff were very friendly, accommodating and welcoming. In particular a lady who worked on the front desk called Ratchadaporn. She was amazing and helped us so much. The food in the restaurant was a good standard with plenty of choice and the sea front was just idillic. Looking forward to returning again soon.

We stayed in one of the cottages. Although they are quaint and cozy, it was a little small for two. I'm 6f,3". We still loved it and would stay here again. No room service but nothing is really far. The reception staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Unfortunately, I feel, that the restaurant staff, especially the evening staff, can do with some customer service training. Overall the stay was great and we enjoyed ourselves. Next time we might stay in one of the 1st-floor rooms in the main building though. More spacious. The beach, not the hotel's fault, is very busy and crowded at times. If that is your thing then great. The location, however, is fantastic for nearness to shops, restaurants and other facilities. Wonderful holiday.

Stayed here for 1 night in beach front suite. Room looks great, clean, and comfy. The room is next to the main pool. So, there will be noise a little when people come to use pool. Beach is private. Hotel is just few mins walk to pier. Staffs are always there for us when we needs. Friendly and helpful. Overall, this is impressive. Will stay again if we visit Koh Samed again.

We stayed here for 3 nights and had the most wonderful time. The resort was very quiet the staff were attentive and the rooms were really clean. They had a restaurant here which provides lovely and very tasty fresh Thai food, although it is a little more expensive but understandably so. The hotel is not too far from Sikaew beach which has a range of bars and water activities you can do during the day. However, if you want to sit by the sea and read a book you don’t have to leave the hotel, it’s extremely peaceful to do that and have a dip in the sea if you fancy! A lovely feature of the rooms is a cotton bag/tote bag that you can use for your shopping. Plastic bags and most plastic in general are banned on the island which is brilliant, and has meant that the island has really cleaned up since our last visit. We will stay here again as we really enjoyed the hotel and how accommodating the staff were.

Hotel is way too expensive for what it is. Far from the centre. The beach in front isn’t very nice. Swimming pool is small. Very few choices for the breakfast. You have ugly view with only roofs of the village house nearby for Deluxe Room. We regretted a lot for having chosen this one.

I came here for a couple of nights after a work trip to Bangkok and enjoyed my stay! I has a sea view room, which had huge windows, and meant I could relax on my bed/balcony and still see the sea. The pool was a good size, and the beach, though small, was enough for a quick dip in the sea. Pros: The staff were lovely and very accommodating, finding me a plug adapter, making me cocktails by the pool etc. The restaurant (for dinner) was nice, great ambiance and tasty food. Cons: there some little bitey ants in the room, but when I told the staff they seemed to get rid of them! Breakfast was ok. The hotel was also near the pier, so you had boats going to and fro, but not that frequently so not an issue for me, but maybe pay more for if you are after total peace and quiet. Overall I enjoyed it and would come back. Thanks

This hotel is a little further from the main beach but it is quieter and really relaxing with its own beach and a beautiful pool that lights up at night. The wooden rooms give it a really nice feel, the beds were very comfortable and everything was spotless. The breakfast is delicious too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay and were sad to leave! Thank you Baan Ploy ❤

Ferry and pier service efficient. Greeted by Ban Ploy staff on arrival and short ride to hotel. Found staff very friendly and welcoming. Room is nice and bed comfy. Nice large bathroom. Small bar fridge and small tv (no english channels). Small balcony is ok, but we didn’t opt for the more expensive sea view room, so didn’t use. Breakfast is great and more than enough in nice restaurant area. The pool is ok, not huge but enough. Beach nearby is a little rocky so no one found swimming there. Better to go Sae Kaew Beach to swim and eat. Much more beautiful and clear water. 1.8km away so not a walking option with narrow winding road with passing cars and motorbikes all the time, not to mention the heat. Costs 200b each way so a little pricey to get there, can add up. Motorbikes can be rented 300bht a day, maybe better option. Hotel really needs to run a shuttle a few times a day. So all in all, enjoyable stay. Only real complaint is the thin walls if u are unlucky enough to be next to some noisy neighbours slamming doors and shouting can be easily heard. But had an enjoyable stay overall.

First impression with the shuttle boat and pier service, very well organize, comfortable and service mind staff. We arrived at 10.55 hrs. but they can manage us get the boat at 11.00 hrs. This is a big plus!! The room is nice and clean BUT king size bed is not real. (It’s twin but cover with one big bed sheet) this is very very uncomfortable and a lot of minus points). The staff at the restaurant need to be trained a lot as they dont know details about cocktails at all, anyway we love their smiles. Thank you for your hospitality and surprised cake on my birthday. We would definitely recommend to others and come back to one of your Samed group for sure.!!!
