We’re here because we’re on a G Adventure trip and this is where they put us. It’s basically a dormitory. Our room looks like a cottage from the 1960’s. It’s ok, has AC and looks a little European. It’s in a residential area and the houses fences that look more for protection than decor.

Nice hotel in Lambert's Bay, close to the beach and Bird island. The owner is super nice and friendly, prepared very nice breakfast for us. Wi-Fi works only in the lobby and restaurant area, not in rooms. It was very cold in the area when we visited but heaters in rooms helped!

Stunning clean. All linen is white and the place is spotlessly clean. The breakfast was great and the food excellent. Staff well trained and friendly. We were very late and needed accommodation and they accommodated us very late that night

We had a great stay at Sir Lamberts Guest House after a long day of riding across the Northern Cape. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable and breakfast really good. Service was great. There is a lot of attention to detail here and we all felt well provided for. Our host was friendly and inviting. The location is great for a quick drive into town, but away from too much bustle.

We (two couples) arrived at reception when the hostess arrived with her dog which growled barked and nipped at my ankles. We went to our rooms which were reasonable except the only window in ours faced a wall on which a mural was painted. To one side was a toilet which I presume had been removed from the house. The WiFi didn't work despite reporting it twice. Our friends room was much bigger with sunlight pouring in and yet the price was the same. There was no plug point in the bathroom. The shower drain was blocked and remained so even after it was "cleaned". The safe was locked with no information as what to do about it. A key was later provided for it but the code system wasn't explained. The dreaded dog, Dolfie, came into our room and also barked during the afternoon when folk were resting. There was a lot of noise when clients checked in including the dog barking. The breakfasts were quite good but the place needs some proper supervision and an upgrade.

we visited this guest house in winter. The house does not have double-glazed windows and it was freezing cold as we got in. luckily they had an extra blanket in the cupboard because the duvet was not enough. i stayed in a double room. It was quite small so if there had been two of us each with a suitcase it would have been a bit of a struggle. The guesthouse offered a good breakfast. I only had the continental selection but it was good and so was the coffee. WIFI also worked well.

The hostess makes you feel at home from the first moment you arrive. The room that we stayed in was very comfortable with everything that we needed. The bathroom was clean and a good size. This B&B doesn't have any view but it does have a lovely garden to sit in. The only complaint we had was that breakfast was only served at 8am, which was a bit inconvenient as we wanted to check-out and leave by 7.30am. However, it was worth waiting for. Delicious cooked breakfast served by a very friendly waitress. Excellent coffee and a jug of orange juice on each table. I would definitely recommend this B&B.
