We stayed here for 2 nights after doing the Lake Kariba Sailing Rally at the end of May as a nice little break between sleeping in a boat for 7 nights before heading up to stay for 8 nights in Mana Pools.
Great rooms, friendly staff, and lovely meals in the restaurant. Stayed in the chalets with Aircon, not the self catering as they were hosting a wedding at same time so they were fully booked, all the staff from front reception to the lovely night game guard Manga who always came through in the evening to advise he was on duty for the evening and if we were needing any assistance or even if we wanted to be woken up if he saw a particular animal we might be interested in seeing.
We were fortunate enough to do a half day tiger fishing trip out, which was a lovely morning out. Can’t recall the name of the gentleman who assisted us in fishing but he was very knowledgeable, had a very patient demeanour to a non fishing person who was still figuring it all out!
Managed to catch a tiger and a Vundu in the last half hour or so before we headed back. He assisted both of us catching at the exact same time, so he had to work twice as hard to ensure neither of us lost the fish.. would definitely recommend a stay here, and wouldn’t have any issues with staying here again.
The actual grounds, were immaculately maintained, green and always being mowed by the evening hippo residents.

While we didn't stay at the lodges (we have our own home nearby), we did take a half day to go fishing for tiger fish. What an experience it was! Our guide, Albert, was super friendly and helpful, and also very knowledgeable. With his guidance and expertise, we managed to catch 3 tiger fish...ok, i'm pushing it, my wife caught the first one, the biggest one, and the second one. I caught the smallest and last one, but still enjoyed it thoroughly. We spotted an elephant on shore and Albert made the effort to start the boat and bring us closer to show us.

Say hi to Kurt Russell when you go. You can't miss him.

When we arrived we were a bit disappointed as it felt as if the small campsite was a bit of a let down...BUT it was just great. We had elephants at our tent three of four times every day, the monkeys came to check on us and we had a very good dinner and drinks, served by friendly and efficient staff at the lodge. The camping ablutions are fantastic. Will definitely try to come back.
Management is very helpful, even came to check that we had everything we needed.

I stayed here with my three daughters, my mum and my wife two nights in February. We had a great time there.
We were greeted by elephants the morning we left. We went out fishing which was a great experience, highly recommended.
They have good food and a very friendly staff.

This is a little bit of heaven on earth! The chalets are very comfortable and the shower is amazing. The restaurant is superb. Every meal we ate there was flawless and extremely tasty.
Caught my first ever tiger fish - with a lot of help from Colin our guide. He has the patience of a saint and was helpful, encouraging and very pleasant. All the staff at Tiger Safaris were pleasant and helpful. A very relaxing and tranquil atmosphere. The kitchen was very well equipped. Will certainly go back.

Here for a wedding and what a venue. Elephants, hippos, warthogs and monkeys walking around the area. Staff supervise so no danger just pure joy at seeing these wonderful animals close up. Lovely restaurant, garden and chalets. Fab for fishing or boat trips on the Zambezi.

I visited with my wife and five grown up children. We had the best fishing of our lives, and each of us caught large tiger fish. Our guide, Amos, was very skilled, helpful - and patient! Very helpful and pleasant staff. Delicious and affordable food in the restaurant. Very comfortable accommodation. What a holiday!

I visited tiger safaris with friends for a weekend get away. The location is so convenient right across the border. We were welcomed with smiles and every one of the staff were so ready and willing to make our stay comfortable. The management is super professional and nice.

The highlight of the place is the tiger fishing!! Iv been to so many places all my life for fishing, but the experience at tiger safaris is out of this world. The guides are so good, it's as if they can actually speak to the tiger fish. And big thumbs up to Amos, Alex and takesure. We were lucky to catch and land more than 25 monster tigers in a single day.

We also were lucky to encounter lions right on the banks of the zambezi during our fishing safaris.

We will definitely be returning again and again. And I would highly recommend tiger safaris to one and all.

Tiger Safaris is perfectly located not far off the main road as well on the banks of the Zambezi. The fishing was tough because the water was dirty. First time out to Tiger Safaris and I love it. I'll be back again. The fish we caught shows there's some good potential when the water is clear. Just be weary of the thieving monkeys. We had one go through the bathroom and into the kitchen and stole our rolls. We also had one steal some pies from our tins on the jetty. The rooms could do with either better fans or aircons. When u get off the water after a full day of fishing you need that luxury. Although I took a high speed fan from home.

None the less I enjoyed my stay and I will be back soon. I need to catch some bigger tiger.
