I was really lucky to find this place. Our vacations there were simply marvellous. We had opportunity to spend one night in bamboo house and the others in so called doble superior. My review will be a bit large but it is the type of the review I'd like to read before coming to any place. I liked almost everything there:
- all the bungalows are new and very well made. They thought about every detail (lots of sockets-even outside, hangers and shelfs in the bathroom, mosquito-net in the windows, deckchairs), so it's very comfortable to stay there. Besides I loved the style. The decorator has really good taste (especially I liked the climate of bamboo house).
- everything is very clean, in bamboo house even extremely clean. As somebody said already the cleanest place in South America, or at least in Peru! I just hope that owners will keep it like this (eliminating every sign of mould as it appears in the bathroom)
- when it goes to temperature of water: in fact it is according to the temperature outside. It isn't freezing nor warm. I don't like taking shower in a cold water but it wasn't a problem form me. While the weather outside is so hot, you don't really need hot water. Even at night you get used to it. Anyhow, as I've seen in doble superior that there is aleady a warm water tap. So it's only matter of time.
- the beds are very comfortable. Cotton bedsheets and pillows with feather filling make it even more comfortable.
- one sees at glance that every item in the bungalow is prime quality
- in the garden everything is also made with taste. Plenty of beautiful flowers and palm trees for you to relax in nice surroundings. When you enter this place you feel as if you got to miles away from noisy, crowded and unorganized Peruvian town. In short, the place looks exactly as the photos show.
- it doesn't have TV, but for me it is advantage. You don't come to a place like this to watch TV. It has though WI-FI. Based on experience with Peruvian Internet, I can say it works pretty fine (as far as the other guests don't get the idea to download a movie)
- breakfast was very tasty and for a good price. The Russian omlet was great but Persian style scrambled eggs beat it. From now on I will prepare it at home as well! We haven't used the kitchen but you have this possibility, perfect when you stay longer and want to save a bit. It's well equipped and clean. You can also use the fridge to keep food and cool your drinks.
- the place is really quiet. Neighbours don't play laud music anymore
- if you want to discart the place only because it doesn't have swimming pool (at the moment), don't do it. Already at the place I had a look to the other places with swimming pool. Aquamarinn's quality is far better, and you can always bath in the ocean! :) Personally I always prefer a nice place than an average place which offers only a nice swimming pool.
- going out or getting back at any time isn't inconvinient at all. You are free to do it, when the door is closed late at night it's only for security reasons. There is a bell and the owners open the door with a smile on their faces
- location is perfect in my opinion. About 10 min on foot from the center of the town, and about 5 min from the beach, a quiet part of the beach, with few people ideal to rest. It is a little further from main beach but there is far more tourists. Anyhow easy access just at walking distance. There is a lot of hostels closer to the town but also near fishermans houses and mototaxis routes. The Aquamarinn's street is much more beautiful.
- the owners and the staff are really lovely people. Very attentive, try to help as much as they can every time you need something. It was nice that I've got separate confirmation of the reservation on my e-mail, informing also about the price of the mototaxi to the hotel (caring that the taxist doesn't cheat the guest)

Last day of our vacations there was a black out in whole Mancora. As we were leavin at 8 pm it was dark already. The owners were so nice and toughtuful to take us to the bus stop by their own car. It shows that they are not only good people but also care about their guests.
I actually felt like home (maybe because of the atmosphere or maybe because of the Russian language which reminded me my home ;))

Next time in Mancora we will come back for sure. And I highly recommend this place. Hope that I will find free place :)
Thank you for a nice stay!

My wife and I came to Aquamarinn on April 2 after staying in central Mancora for a month. We wanted to find a nice place which is quiet and near Love Beach to the far north of Mancora. Aquamarinn turned out to be the ideal option because it is located on the second road from the beach where there are no noisy restaurants or discoteques. The hotel itself is comprised of two buildings, one constructed of bamboo and the other of cement. The rooms in both buildings are modern with classic Pervian decor. The furniture is new, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are clean with large showers and hot water. The hotel staff regularly cleans each room during a guest's stay and provide clean towels, sheets, and toilet paper.

The territory of this hotel contains an extensive garden which is comprised of two rows of palm trees surrounded by a variety of flowers. Several reclining chairs are placed in front of the rooms and in the garden where guests may relax, read, or watch the palms sway in the breeze while listening to waves crash against the shore of Love Beach.. Four hammocks are hung within a bamboo hut at the far end of the property where guests may relax, meditate on mats, or use excersize equipment. A full modern kitchen is available for guests to use for a nominal fee or they may choose breakfast from the hotel menu. Meals may be taken at the covered outdoor dining area which is surrounded by flowering plants where a variety of birds sing in the morning and afternoons.

The owners of this hotel are very attentive to the needs of guests and place the comfort and convenience of their guests above all other concerns. I am certain that the management of this hotel would promptly take action if a guest were to complain about insects in their room. I can also say that the location of this hotel provides no inconvenience because motor rickshaws are available 24-hours a day to take guests to and from any location in Mancora for only two soles, therefore, no guest should ever feel the need to walk down dark streets after sunset or incur the expense to rent a motorbike. Communication should never be a problem because the administrator of this hotel speaks English, French, Spanish, and Russian. WIFI is available to all guests.

My wife and I have traveled extensively over the past five years and have sought a place where we could feel at home. We now consider Aquamarinn to be our home in South America. We have stayed at this hotel for three months and have reserved our room until the end of March. If you plan to visit Mancora during this time, I invite you to come to Aquamarinn. My wife and I will be glad to add you to the number of friends from North America and Europe whom we have met during our stay at Aquamarinn.

This hotel has everything you need. The owners are extremely nice and friendly, you feel like home as soon as you walk in. The place is beautiful, the room is the cleanest ever seen in SA so far, breakfast is lovely and the attention to details is incredible.
We supposed to stay only one night but we extended to 4 nights!
Wonderful, thank you so much!

We booked into the Aquamarinn hostel for 9 days recently but checked out after two days. We found it to be much less attractive than some of the superlative descriptions we had read on TripAdvisor. But there were good points, as well.
The Positive:
Clean and reasonably roomy units, excellent en suite with good electric hot water shower, very quiet location, nice people running the place, good WIFI, decent breakfast, several electrical plugs per room, well equipped kitchen available for a small charge.
The Negative:
Some distance from both the beach and town center, gravel no-mans-land compound, small biting ants by the rooms that always seemed to find you, unimaginative design in the grounds that didn't welcome a person, lack of healthy plants in the open areas, uncomfortable homemade slingback chairs.
.We paid $39/night and breakfast was an extra $3/person, bringing our total to $45 for two persons.
In contrast, we moved to a different location with exuberant plant and bird life and paid $34/night including an excellent breakfast. Rooms are comfortable at the new place and we are away from Mancora's loud night time music but only 5 minutes from the center rather than 15. And the new place has a pool.
So while we have certainly stayed in much worse accomodation than Aquamarinn, we just don't understand comments like "Best place in all of Peru" or "Definitely Recommended!!". They are downright misleading to people looking for accurate information. Based on those comments, we almost felt like we were in the wrong place when we arrived.
But you could do worse.

We stayed at Aquamarinn and it was a wonderful stay. The room and bathroom was big and totally clean. The internet was fast and we never had trouble connecting. Outside the room there is a big yard with chairs, hammocks, palms and much more. A little paradise actually. And the owners were so nice. They helped us so much during our stay and were absolutely wonderful. This is without any doubt the best place we've stayed at in Peru, so if you're going to Mancora, stay here! You won't regret it!

Rested at the hotel AquamarInn (the second half of July-early August). Liked it! Firstly - perfect location. The city center is about 10 -12 minutes walk. The beach is 5-7 minutes walk. If too lazy to go on foot, motorcycle taxi for the sum of two soles (0,70 cent) will deliver to anywhere in the city. Clean air. I can not hear the noise transit route, which passes through the city, I can not hear the noise of discos and restaurants.
Nice, spacious rooms. Large shower rooms. Pleased with the presence of hot water. Nice grounds, lots of greenery. Everything is clean, neat and tasteful. Delicious breakfast and great coffee! We saw that the hotel owners love their job.
Thank you, hospitable hosts, we really had a rest! We will advise your hotel to all family and friends!

We stayed here for 3 nights over christmas and had a great time. On christmas night they brought the guests out to the dining area and wished us all a merry christmas and gave us fudge cake and tea, which got us all socializing.
The beach is a 5 minute walk away. The centre town is also a short 5 minute walk.

The only reason this isn't a 5/5 is because breakfast isn't included, and coffee isn't included in breakfast... For the price, breakfast and coffee should be included. Also, the few nights before, we had stayed in accommodation closer to the beach, for half the price.
But overall, a great stay. We even got a hug when we left. <3
