Beautiful resort. Everything well maintained and clean. The rooms have everything you need. The bed is comfortable. There is a kitchen and a nice roof terrace to chill out. The beach is not far and invites you to surf. All in all, a 100% recommendation.

We loved staying here. Edu is super friendly guy, told us everything about Mancora, where to go, what to get and so on. Lovely designed and clean place. Smells sooo good after cleaning 😄 Easy get to the beach and everything (5-10 min walking). Lovely stuff and cats and delicious breakfast 🤗😋

We experienced a downside of the hostel’s popularity immediately after arriving on the overnight bus. The hostel seems busy all the time so we couldn’t check in early and had to wait for previous guests to leave at 12. Similarly, when leaving on the night bus, it’s unlikely you can check out late. Having said that, there is a room to leave bags, some nice areas to hang out, use WiFi etc and a shared shower.

Our room was on the ground floor with private bathroom and a small table and hammock facing the shared, busy patio area. The room was very clean, functional but small with no real storage space. It also only had one plug socket which was a little temperamental- it sparked a lot and plugs fell out. I also experienced an interesting buzz through my laptop while it was charging! The bathroom was small with a cold water shower which worked ok. The room was fine for a hostel but I felt $25 was expensive for the standard of room. $15-20 would have been a better price. However, as I said, it’s usually full so people are willing to pay the price asked.

The Trip advisor summary says the hotel is beachfront- it isn’t. It’s in a small enclave of hostels set back from the main road and is a 5 minute walk to the beach. It is set away from the main bars and restaurant area of Mancora though so is quite and is an easy walk to town.

The hostel has a laid back vibe and there are usually other travellers hanging out in one of the nice communal areas. The owner speaks good English and is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in the price and was freshly prepared, simple but tasty. There is also a kitchen area where you can prepare your own food, which a lot of guests seemed to do.

In summary, it’s a well run, clean and friendly hostel in a good, quiet location. A few dollars less would have better suited the room quality though. I’d probably settle on a 3.5 rating but we enjoyed our stay in Mancora so have given 4.

If you don't mind bugs, cockroaches and mosquitos then you'll be fine.
The place is colourful and clean and the hosts are super nice and helpful. You'll also be situated just a short walk from the restaurants and the amazing beach.
The breakfast of eggs and warm bread also deserves an honourable mention.
The only problem for us was the location and construction of the rooms (gaps in Windows and doors) means that the room allows in a whole host of insects - not great when your in a malaria zone.

The place is nice located 5 minutes walking from the beach and 3 min walking from the main road that all the shops, bars and restaurants are located. The place is affordable, super nice, chill, colorfully decorated with a hippie but elegant style! Eduardo, the owner of the place is a great host, always happy to help you with everything you might need during your staying in Mancora!

I stayed two nights in this hostel and I was not disappointed. The owners were very helpful accommodating our every need. The rooms are small but have everything I needed. It has a beautiful decking area and a nice lounge to socialize. I would definitely stay here again.
Oo And the breakfast was the best I've eating in Peru yet

I stayed for 3 days, and it was an awesome place to relax, full of energy, i loved the attention in that hotel, the owner Mr Eduardo is a very decent person that helps you tons with your traveling, you gotta eat breakfast there, Ms. gabriela makes a hell of scramble eggs.
You can find a great place, quiet one, relaxed, you may go with adult family, friends or couple.
I spent 3 great days there.
BTW, if you want to go to the beach, is just 10 mins walking

Lovely hostel to stay in Mancora. Nice atmosphere and the hosts are easy going and very kind and helpful. Bathroom and rooms are clean.
There is no hot shower, but it does not make any difference if you have a bath during sunny time. Really recommended!

Really lovely stay. Staff were welcoming, everything very clean and layout of hostel was very cute and colourful.
Still close to beach but just a little back so nice and quite at night, not having to put up with the noise from other hostels and bars blasting music until 6am every morning was fantastic
