Simple well kept, room only accommodation. I step out of my room straight on to the beach to see an amazing sunset. Only down side was lukewarm water but not a major problem. The staff were amazing. helpful and protective. This is a must for backpacks, especially women travelling alone or those that arent looking an all inclusive holiday. I am definitely going again.

Waikiki is in a great location 5 steps form the beach. I stayed in the Tower top floor so the view was lovely, the room had everything I needed and was cleaned regularly. There was plenty of hot water and the owner was helpful, we used his grill to cook fish. There were plenty of socket to charge all the tek. There are lots of mosquitos so be prepared and use the net for bed. There was a nice breeze most nights so the fan was fine. Internet worked well, TV was unreliable but hey who goes to JA to watch TV. Room was very secure and the place felt very safe and welcoming.

This is very basic accommodation, which is why it gets an average, not very good. If you are more interested in price, then this is very good. It is not one guesthouse, but rather about five or six bildings with rooms. Ours had a fridge and private bathroom. The room was about 15 x 15 feet. Sitting on the little verandah of our cabin, watching the waves at night was wonderful. This is a few steps up from camping. However, if you like camping, you know it is about being near to nature, not the amenities in the room. The room was recently painted, the sheets and towels were clean. The owner was very friendly. It was all we needed. We would go back there if things were just the same. Treasure Beach has a very different atmosphere from Montego Bay, Kingston and Ocho Rios. It is even more quiet and laid back than Negril. People are very nice. There are plans to put a restaurant right by the rooms near the beach, which I think will spoil the serenity and atmosphere in the rooms. Until then, go and enjoy the place. Pardy's is right across the road and serves a great breakfast.
