Feel like home with Suzette and Denzel. Excellent beach access with shade, outside shower to wash off the salt and sand, and miles of walkable sand. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants. Don't be put off by the distance from Montego Bay. This property is remote enough to feel like you are not a tourist but close enough to the south Jamaican destinations. Not 4 star but very comfortable.
This is a lovely, homey guesthouse right on the beach. Comfortable and easy to get around. We love Suzzette the house manager and Denzel the groundsman. We are always at home and hate to leave. Easy to walk to good places to eat if you do not want to cook at home. Suzzette will shop and cook for you. We cook our own food. And I love making my coffee in the mornings! Sitting at the veranda on the beach for incredible sunsets. And sometimes dolphins swim by!
We Spend 4 days at the Beach cottage - and it was great. Suzette and the whole Team is so nice and welcoming, you feel immediately like Home. Most of the Time, we had the Beach for ourselves ... as Treasure Beach is a small village, Shops, supermarket and restaurants are close by.
This was the best vacation ever. Suzette is incredible. She is kind, helpful with setting things up to do. A wonderful cook. Food was excellent. Did I mention a wonderful cook. Calabash house is quite relaxing beachfront vacation home. Walking to the resort for lunch and you can use the pool. A short walk to Jack Sprat for food a drink private beach and a pool as well. We had more fun. We will be back. Thank you Suzette and family for a wonderful time. Denzel is very helpful and fun. He set us up a campfire on the beach. He was very helpful as well. The hammocks are wonderful to relax in. Felt safe there.
We had 12 women on a week birthday vacation. The house was clean, the rooms and beds comfortable. We were able to either sleep with the windows open and listen to the ocean or have the air on at night also. Suzett and her daughters are great cooks and the Jamaican food was great, and when some of our group did not like Jamaican style she adapted to some American items too.. So amazing to wake up in the morning and while we lazed around (after she made us some very good Jamaican coffee) breakfast was cooked. We ate at a very large table on the back porch looking out to the ocean. We walked on the beach, played in the waves and slept and read books in the hammocks. We walked down the street to Jack Sprats and ate pizza and drinks. A couple of our people in the group went to Church on Sunday at a local church and were welcomed with opened arms. Suzett helped us arrange a boat ride for a day to the Pelican bar. We went to YS falls and had a great day of adventure. All of this with in 1-2 hrs of the house. Just an amazing way to spend time here and see the real life of Jamaica but yet when at the home I felt like I was on a paradise island alone just my family and the wonderful little place of treasure beach. I hope to take other friends back someday to show them the amazing time to be had.…
