From time to time we revisit a hotel or restaurant only to find that our earlier review was 'out of date' as the establishment was now so much better/worse. Well, the last time we stayed at the WHH we had a really good stay so...More
Slightly disappointing, hotel is very plain and boring. However not overly expensive. Evening meal was nice and again not bad value, breakfast however was terrible, everything tasted the same, deep fried, very greasy, tasted like old fat. No tea bags, never tasted such artificial fruit...More
We booked in to the Wookey Hole Hotel for five nights so that we could 're-explore' the area we last visited some 30 plus years ago. The hotel was convenient to our next port of call after Cheddar, Wookey Hole Caves. The rooms were very...More
The staff are nice. And very helpful . The out side looks great ! Inside is just blah

Wells is lovely I recommend there. They have market day twice a week (possibly a Wednesday and Saturday). Wells Cathedral is a MUST see too 👌🏻 Lots of lovely coffee shops and eateries too. We also took a trip in to Glastonbury but I must admit, I wasn’t all that impressed, but each to their own. There’s even Glastonbury Tor? Might be worth a google. Weston Super-Mare was a nice day out too. Sand; Pier; Arcades and fish & chips 👌🏻 What’s not to like? Lol!! You do have to pay a little entrance fee though to get on the pier so make sure you have some change 👌🏻 Enjoy. We really loved our stay at Wookey Hole ☺️
