Stayed 5 nights and loved it. Absolutely beautiful view from our lodge. Safe (albeit a little tricky underfoot) trails. One to THE MOST AMAZING beach (and we were on some great ones in the Osa peninsula) another to fresh water pool. Saw a great variety of birds and small

We came to have a relaxing time in the rainforest beside a beautiful beach and easily enjoyable nature. We have never been disappointed and this was our third stay over many years. A special place for those seeking tranquility amidst glorious nature.

The cabins are nice, clean and comfortable. The wildlife sightings in the area are wonderful. Beach access is good with a deserted beach within a trail hike. The on-site restaurant is delicious. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Be sure to check out the river pool hike

Hi can you walk to the beach and town from this hotel?
La Cusinga has a fresh water pool reached across a footbridge & down a twisting path. Since we arried in a heavy rain, the next day the pool was cloudy and we didn't swim. The pool is fed by 2 small waterfalls. I did not take the trail to La Cusinga's beach, but my husband did. He said it was lovely, albeit a bit rocky. He reported that the trail down was a bit rough.
