I would just like to thank the staff and owners of Black Leopard Camp. We had our companies year end function and they went beyond to cater to us. We had the privilege to have the 1 owner Alan cook for us. The food was fantastic. Everything there was lovely and the staff so friendly. It was really a great place to be and then being so in touch with nature was absolutely lovely. Would definitely go again and recommend it to others

We had an absolutely amazing stay at black Leopard Camp! We were taken care of so well by the staff member on hand. He received us with such an inviting attitude, and helped us wherever he could possibly lend a hand. We needed the breakaway and oh my, was it worth it. Always surprised by the hidden gems you can find secluded in the bush in South Africa. So secluded, yet worth 5 stars! Thank you Black Leopard Camp! You will DEFINITELY see us again. We never fail to mention you when colleagues ask us for trip recommendations!

We had a wonderful stay at the lodge with my husband and our 2 little boys. We fell in love with the location of lodge, the facilities and service were perfect and we had an incredible 4x4 drive with Lynsey. We did not see any leopard but couple of other animals.

Hi Magalie and family, We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. It was one of my highlights of this year to see your boys faces when they spotted their first ever giraffe. We hope to see you all back again soon! Keep well! Lynsey

Beautifully tucked away in the mountains this was such a fantastic place to relax. We had good cell reception even though the wifi offered doesn’t exist so if you rely on that you will be disappointed. TV broken but didn’t bother us as we just relaxed , read and spent time at the pool. Gorgeous views. Definitely need a high clearance vehicle so 4x4 or 4x2 with diff lock. Julius is exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. Staff Always ready to light a fire or lay the tables etc - real asset to the lodge

We cannot rave enough about the spot. The setting is just out of a book! The whole place needs maintenance. The large 4 bedroom unit had water issues for all 4 days (lack of hot water for most of the time). The leaking from the roof gutters which are non-existant was more than should be tolerated into the large lounge/enterainment area. The electicity was on and off during our stay, but was backed up by a generator. We salute the staff 12 out of 10 for crises management every single day with little or no support from management. The cleaning materials and tools were also seriosuly lacking. We do understand that the place is up for sale and that they have been hard hit by Covid-19, but, if you open your doors and take the money, then you need to at least provide the basics to your guests! We loved the freedom of the property without restrictions and our whole family would love to go back once these challanges are addressed. Well done to the staff ************

What a stroke of luck it was to come across a website that recommended BLC. We were looking for a getaway in the bush that allowed pets, and there were few to choose from. BLC covered all our requirements. This is an amazing property with every amenity one can dream of, including spectacular views of the mountains. We cannot wait to visit again.

Amazing break away in the mountains to relax and unwind. Black leopard camp owners & Julius were awesome hosts Luxury tent was immaculate and offered amazing views from the deck. Road to the lodge can be done by a 4x2 with decent clearance otherwise there are other options to be collected from the bottom of the mountain. Fully equipped communal kitchen with refrigerators Awesome stay ⛰

Great stay. Worth the trek. Setting is lovely. Try and get here before dark though. 4x4 road is quite tough. View is fantastic and units next to small waterfalls. Splash pool is quite tiny so don't expect a pool but it's all you need. River also have some lovely pools. All in all great place to catch up and reset.

We were 3 couples and had a wonderful time at Black Leopard camp. What an experience to do the 4x4 drive up the mountain. The peaceful time spent down at the river, sipping on a Amarula on ice in the splash pool and enjoying our meals at a nicely set table with friendly service from the staff. We also enjoyed game viewing from the deck. The personal welcome and care from Lynsey and her staff was excellent. A visit to Black Leopard camp is highly recommended.
