Was a perfect weekend away. We needed to chill and relax and thats what we did. Cycled walked and did some trail running. Perfect place to unwind. Also nice to see such a variety of animals. Horses, cows, goats, sheep and lots of dogs which was cool cause we took our 2 dogs. Really per friendly.

As a child, my father used to read Zane Grey books to us. They were all about the great American Frontiersmen and Indians and such. I allways tried to imagine what it would be like, sleeping in a Tipi. This was simply the real deal. The location is the perfect combination of safe and isolated. You really get the feeling that you are alone "Out There" with no soul around but nature and thre friendly sound of the little river a few2 meters from the tent. Everything was just perfect. From the moment we3 set foot at Lydenrust Guest Farm until the moment we left, we felt cared for and special. Thank you very much! We all want to see what the little hidden valey looks like in summer... See you again then!

We stayed at Lydenrust Guest farm for 4 days and it was amazing. I have (city) 3 kids which are extremely busy but I hardly saw them those 4 days! Alison and her staff are so amazing, helpful, patient and friendly. She taught my kids how to ride horse and feed the animals. I was also very pleased to see how much they love and treat their animals. The ocomadation was perfect with the most peaceful view of the mountains and small rivers. It was a great break away for the whole family.Just the place to relax and regain your thoughts. My kids did not want to leave and we will defiantly visit again!! Thank you so much Alison and staff.
