This is a superb lodge overlooking the Isandlwana battle site. Two nights with superb home cooked meals breakfast lunch and dinner. Our hosts Rose and Shane joined us at the bar at night and shared great stories and experiences. All the staff were efficient and friendly. Our guide of the battlefield tour, Buthelazi was brilliant and provided a great day with stories and historical information. Well done Rose and Shane and thank you for your welcome and friendliness. John, Colette, Tomas & Emer.
Excellent location and excellent service from all. Rose is a fantastic hostess, welcoming and always there to make the stay memorable. Bravo! The trip for four remains a bit expensive with the tour of the battlefields, but is worth it
Superb lodge overlooking a Zulu war battlefield, the staff and management were excellent, friendly and efficient, to the point of remembering our names and very obliging removing the Huntsman spider in my room.
Entering this area with the imposing “sphynx” hill one can not imagine the totality of all that happened here. The lodge was the perfect choice of accomodation. Three wonderful nights, three wonderful home cooked dinners, three great breakfasts. Did day trip with guide on day 2, and understand that some readers found Dalton hard to understand at times, as he talks fast! Having some knowledge of the history here helps a lot. Lodge? Great service. We were treated like royalty, upgrade to the best rooms. Note no 1 and no 12. Would love to visit again. Not enough time to take it all in. Management: 5 star!
