Janneman and Aldalene are awesome hosts. We were treated like royalty, and their team at the lodge in particular were all incredible. Great safari experience. The food was spectacular and accompanied by fabulous wines, the rooms were gorgeous, and views spectacular.

We just had another great week with Kalahari-Safari...our fourth trip to Namibia and after hunting with Janneman Brand you won't be satisfied with any other PH around. We have tried two other outfits but with Janneman you not only experience the real Kalahari sands of Africa walking/ stalking prize animals but return to the lodge and enjoy five-star gourmet meals with his talented and lovely wife Aldalene. Hunters ( and wives can tag along) go out early and late around the high fence >40K acres. Janneman's classic line once you park the truck , "Let's go take a look". Sometimes that means walking the bush or crawling if winds change. (Sometimes it's because your marksmanship isn't perfect..;) His overall flora & fauna knowledge is superb including bird identification for those who have lists to complete. His tracker, Eric is great as well. It's amazing how they can track one print in all that sand!
We look forward to our our next trip #5 with Kalahari- Safari in a few years with our son and possibly grandson.

We are from Texas and going to Africa was awesome. We arrived as guest and left as great friends. I could not ask for a better place to take my family on a once in a lifetime trip. Janneman and Aldalene treated us like family the whole time that we were there. Aldalene's cooking is like eating at a 5 star restaurant. The staff was great. The game were plentifully. We were able to get every animal on our list. Kalahari is a great family environment. I would definitely recommend Kalahari to anyone looking to take there family on a great African adventure and still have all of the comforts of a resort.

The Brand family are the most polite and welcoming and polite hosts on the planet. From the time you arrive, you want for nothing. Adalene is a phenomenal chef and will blow your taste buds away with every meal. Everything is fresh, local (made on the ranch usually), and delicious. Janneman is the best PH in the business. Don't let his large stature fool you - he is a gentle giant. He is patient with inexperienced hunters and can cater to anyone wanting to enjoy the rush of hunting the Kalahari.

This game ranch has some of the finest specimen of many species. Janneman, with the help of his tracker and spotter Eric, will put you on the game. You will walk. You will crawl. You will get tired. You will you be excited. I mean EXCITED.

The lodging is first class all the way. The lodge is beautiful. The spa and masseuse are amazing after a long day hunting.

I know it has been said before, but you will arrive as guests and leave with lifelong friends. The beauty of the Kalahari cannot be put into words. You must experience it for yourself. And when the day comes that you are ready to experience it, you will never regret choosing Kalahari Safari.

Thank you all for an unforgettable 10 days!

We just returned back from our trip to Kalahari Safari last week. All I can say is wow... The food was amazing, the hunting spectacular and the company the best part of all. Janneman and Aldalene do everything they can to ensure your experience is everything you expect it to be. It was like a boutique hotel, a five star restaurant and an expertly managed hunting lodge rolled into one. I have been on several safari's and can say the service on this trip exceeded all others. I guarantee and excellent time, you will not be disappointed. We will be back!

We had a fantastic vacation /hunting experience The accomodations were great- two separate bedroom suites and sitting area upstairs in their home lodge. They book only one hunting party client during a time stay. The food was truly 5 -Star- in remote SW Africa! Adelene is truly a fantastic cook and host. Janneman Brand is a extremely professional/ethical PH and wonderful host in their family ranching atmosphere. A very interesting person with an usual background! We took our 12 year old son- Janneman did a wonderful job of guiding and counseling our son in very sucessful hunting experience. The game were plentiful and of excellent trophy quality. We highly recommend this hunting experience, particularly for family hunting.

This was my second trip to Namibia to hunt with Janneman Brand at Kalahari Safari. While the pressure to take a trophy is on your mind and the walking and crawling can be challenging, Janneman puts you at ease and the pressure is removed. Kalahari Safari’s 45,000 acre ranch has an abundance of quality trophies and I have been very successful in harvesting the trophies I came to hunt. The lodge, meals and staff are on the level of a 5-star resort, even though they are miles away from any major city. I will definitely hunt again with Kalahari Safari in the future, and I would recommend Kalahari to anyone looking for a quality African adventure, while enjoying the comforts of a luxury lodge.

What a great experience! We had looked forward to our return to Getaway Kalahari Safari for two years and we were not disappointed! The hunting was great, the trophy quality was outstanding, the accommodations & food was wonderful. My wife took advantage of spa by enjoying a massage and pedicure. Janneman and Aldalene always work so hard to ensure their guests have a great Kalahari experience. Hopefully, we will be able to return many more times.

We simply could not have chosen a better lodge / outfitter for our first African safari. The accommodations and food were exceptional and the hunting and trophy quality were outstanding. Janneman, Aldalene and family are great hosts and go the extra mile to make sure your stay is perfect in every way.
